Analog Input Module, AEM402
General
The AEM402 module is an interface
expansion unit with 8 differential inputs,
each with a measuring range of +10 V or
#20 mA, 4 channels out these 8 can in
‘addition measure resistence. The AEM402
can process IVIR/PT 100.
The measurement is carried out with a 12-
bit A/D converter. The input signals are
‘output to the ADC with a gain of 1 to 256.
The converter achieves 10-bit accuracy at
12-bit resolution.

‘The AEM402 module is accommodated on
a 125,4 x 216 x 58 mm (DxWxH) mounting
module. The module can be engaged on
support rails to the DIN European standard.
The module has 3 terminal strips to which
the interface signals can be connected
directly, and can be expanded with a
maximum of 6 further MXM401 and/or
MxMao2
