5th Annual Yale School of Management Integrated Leadership Case Competition
April 7-9, 2017 (Friday to Sunday)

You have been invited to apply for participation in the Fifth Annual Integrated Leadership Case
Competition at the Yale School of Management. The competition aims to convene the best
students from top business schools around the globe to develop creative solutions for business
challenges that require the integration of multiple disciplines.
The weekend case competition brings teams together from top global business schools, including
member schools of the Global Network for Advanced Management, to tackle a Yale SOM raw
case on business strategy. The SOM raw case embodies the essence of SOM’s core curriculum
and strives to make teams take an integrated, multi-perspective view to problem solving.
Winning teams will take home prizes of $3000+! In addition, teams will also be provided the
option of receiving objective feedback on their team’s dynamic, communication skills, and their
individual ability to put leadership in action.

Application Form
The Integrated Leadership Case Competition aims to convene the best students from top
tier business schools across the globe to develop creative solutions for business challenges
that require the integration of multiple disciplines. The winning team will need to show
that their strategy takes into account different vantage points (finance, marketing, ethics
etc.) and multiple stakeholders (customers, investors, employees etc.).

Application Question
Discuss one of the most exciting opportunities through which integrated leadership
skills can be applied to help solve a global challenge. Submissions may take one of
the following forms: essay (max 400 words), presentation (max 5 slides), or video
(max 5 minutes.)
