Distance Librarian August 2006 – Present


Provide reference and research assistance to traditional and non-traditional students enrolled
online and on-campus. Conduct online and face-to-face library instruction. Create learning
objects using Camtasia, SnagIt, and Panopto. Contribute to online course development through
selection of Open Educational Resources. Create and maintain LibGuides for the Master of
Science in Administration program. Liaisoned to the online Doctor of Health Administration
program and interim Health Professions Librarian. Participate in the development and marketing
of library services and resources. Coordinated the Distance Library Services Conference from
2012-2018.

Led reference and access services teams in identifying projects, establishing goals and
timelines, assessing skill sets, and motivating colleagues and student employees. Coordinated
reference desk schedule, maintained statistics, and managed reference collection. Supervised
three Access Services staff. Utilized Voyager Library Management System to process reference
monographs and serials and to assist at the Circulation Desk.

foster collection development and promote access to library resources.

Head of Instructional Services September 2004 – November 2005


Provided leadership in the programmatic development of Library Instructional Services,

Instruction Coordinator September 2003 – September 2004


Coordinated library instruction efforts, including conducting, designing, and scheduling of
curriculum-based instruction and “Just-in-Time” workshops. Increased the number of instruction
sessions by 75% over a one-year period. Strengthened library’s relationship with the Career
Services and Student Services offices through staff training and increased instructional
opportunities.

Provided traditional and electronic reference services to undergraduate and graduate
populations. Conducted large and small group instruction sessions. Contributed to the
