Chocolate Pancakes:
Serves 5
Ingredients
      1 cup milk
      1 egg
      2 tbsp margarine, melted
      1 c. all-purpose flour
      1/3 c. cocoa powder
      1/4 c. sugar
      1/2 tsp. baking soda
      1/2 tsp. salt
      Powdered Sugar
      Any other favorite toppings such as fruit, jam, whipped cream, etc.
Directions
   1. In med bowl, add milk, egg, margarine. Whisk until well blended.
   2. In another med bowl, combine flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
   3. Add milk mixture to dry mixture. Whisk until ingredients moistened. The batter may be
      slightly lumpy.
   4. Heat skillet to med-low or low heat depending on your stove.
   5. Once hot, pour 1/4 cup of batter per pancake in pan.
   6. Flip once batter is set around edges. Then cook till baked through.
   7. Once pancakes are cooked. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Then add your favorite
      toppings(optional).
Regular Pancakes
Ingredients:
      2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
      2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
      3 tablespoons granulated sugar
      1/2 teaspoon salt
      2 large eggs
      1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups milk
      2 tablespoons melted butter
Preparation:
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs
and 1 1/2 cups of milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. Blend in melted butter. If
the batter seems too thick to pour, add a little more milk. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, using
about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbly, a little dry around the edges, and
lightly browned on the bottom; turn and brown the other side. Recipe for pancakes serves 4.
Cocoa Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
1½ cups of milk
1 oz (30 g) of butter
4 tbsp of sugar
4 tbsp of Cadbury's cocoa powder
1½ tbsp of cornflour
½ tsp of vanilla essence
Method
Blend together the milk, sugar, cocoa powder and cornflour with a whisk until a smooth paste
has formed.
Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until the mixture begins to boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
Remove the pan from the stove and add the butter. Stir the butter until it melts and blends into
the sauce mixture.
Finally, add the vanilla essence and stir well.
Serve the sauce warm with your favourite pudding.
Option 2:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
In a small saucepan over low heat, heat chocolate chips and whipping cream, stirring constantly.
Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and sauce is smooth. Stir in
vanilla.
Serve over dessert or ice cream.
Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies:
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
     1 cup butter, softened
     1 1/2 cups white sugar
     2 eggs
     2 teaspoons vanilla extract
     2 cups all-purpose flour
     2/3 cup cocoa powder
     3/4 teaspoon baking soda
     1/4 teaspoon salt
     2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
     1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine the
     flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; stir into the butter mixture until well blended. Mix in
     the chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie
     sheets.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or just until set. Cool slightly on the
     cookie sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
