MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
1. For Jr. Overman in Technical & Supervisory Grade-C
i) Diploma in Mining Engineering of 03 years duration from any recognized institute.
ii) Valid Overman Competency Certificate issued by Director General of Mines &
Safety.
iii) Valid First Aid Certificate.
iv) Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
OR
i) Valid Overman Competency Certificate issued by Director General of Mines & Safety.
ii) Valid First Aid Certificate
iii) Valid Gas Testing Certificate

2. For Mining Sirdar in Technical & Supervisory Grade-C


i) Matriculation or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of examination
ii) Valid Certificate of Mining Sirdarsihp issued by Director General of Mines & Safety.
iii) Valid First Aid Certificate
iv) Valid Gas Testing Certificate
N.B. Candidates having Diploma in Mining Engineering of 03 years duration from any
recognized institute with Overman Competency Certificate issued by Director General of
Mines & Safety, valid First Aid and Gas Testing Certificates may also apply for the post.
3. For Dy. Surveyor in Technical & Supervisory Grade-C
Matriculation or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of examination with
Valid Survey Certificate of competency granted by Director General of Mines & Safety.

AGE LIMIT:
Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 12/12/2010.

AGE RELAXATION FOR SC/ST/OBC:


Upper Age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for SC/ST candidates and 03 (three) years for
OBC candidates.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
A. Besides pay, the post carries other allowances and fringe benefits as per Company’s
Rules/NCWA-VIII. Application containing the following details should reach to the Dy.
General Manager(A/MP&R), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, At/PO – Jagruti Vihar,
Burla, Dist. Sambalpur – 768 020 (Orissa) on or before 10/02/2011.
B. The applications should accompany the attested photocopies of Certificates /
Testimonials in support of age, educational qualification, caste, experience etc. along
with two copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
C. Those who are working in Govt./Semi Govt/Public Sector Undertaking should apply
through proper channel.
D. Separate applications should be submitted against Special Recruitment Drive and
General Recruitment Drive. The candidates should indicate the post applied for also on
the left side corner of the envelop/cover.
E. The SC/ST candidates, who are applying against vacancies under Special Recruitment
Drive, should indicate the same at the left side corner of the envelop/cover.
F. The application format should be filled in by typing or computer printing.
G. Incomplete application and those received after the due date are liable to be rejected.
