LAB 7 FLOORS, CEILINGS AND ROOF FLOORS

• Go to the Architecture tab


• Select Architectural floor option from architecture tab
• There are various options to mark floor in the level 1
➢ Pick lines
➢ Rectangle
➢ Pick walls
• I choose pick wall option
• Make sure that no line intersects each other
• Floor has been placed

CEILING
• Go to the architecture tab
• Select ceiling option
• Choose sketch ceiling
• Draw the ceiling with the help of pick lines
• Make sure no line intersects and must be in a closed loop
• Ceiling has been placed

ROOF
• Go to the architecture tab
• Select roof option
• There is various option to make roof
• I choose flat roof
• For that select roof option and uncheck the Slope option
• Place the generic roof (8”) with the help of pick lines
• Make sure no line intersects and must be in a closed loop
• Roof has been placed

LAB 8 STAIRS
• Go to the Architecture tab
• Select stairs
• Specify the riser
• Draw the stairs
• Make sure it reaches to the height of roof level

Figure 2 isolate view of stair

• Go to the shaft option and give opening to connect roof level

Figure 4 bottom view of 3d model


LAB 9 SCHEDULING AND VIEWS SCHEDULING
• For scheduling go to the view tab
• Select scheduling/ quantities option
• New schedule screen appears
• Select the parameters to make the schedules I choose
➢ Door
➢ Windows
➢ Rooms
DOORS
• Insert the parameters ➢ Types
➢ Width
➢ Height
➢ Sill height
➢ Thickness
• Schedule appears

WINDOWS
• Insert the parameters
➢ Width height
➢ Sill height
➢ Height
➢ Type
➢ Head height
• Windows schedule appears

FIGURE 6 window schedule

ROOMS
• Go to the architecture tab select tag room
• And bound them with the tags and name the rooms

• Insert the parameters for the scheduling of rooms


➢ Area
➢ Room name
➢ Count

VIEWS
• Select new sheet option on the project view
• Select the size of the sheet
• Select the place view option
• View Screen appears
• Select the view
• Place it into the sheet
