Part III SUBJECT AND PREDICATE
Directions: Focusing on the proper use of subject and predicate, answer the following questions
with 5-7 sentences only. You can highlight, bold, or color all the complete subject. 20pts.
a. What are the problems that you encountered in this “New Normal” in terms of education?
One of my main problems now with the "new normal" is the Internet connection here in our
area because we are at the far end of our province so it's difficult to get a signal here. So the
online class which is my first choice was not in my favor and that is why I switched to the
modular learning modality. In modular modes of learning, I also experienced problems such as
getting and submitting my module or output because travel is limited now and and it's difficult
that we do not own a motorcycle to use for travel. Another factor that is I am also involved in the
education of my three children in elementary. As a parent I have great responsibility in this
"new normal" and that is to teach them here in our house. Here I have a hard time figuring out
which one I should prioritize or give more priority to, my children's education or my own
education. And if both, how can I integrate my education into my children's education?
However, I also have an 8 month old baby here who need to be cared and breastfeed.
b. What is your point of view in the increasing number of COVID 19 cases in the Philippines?
All I can say about the continued rise and increase of COVID 19 in the Philippines is due to the
poor cooperation of people and the corrupt political leaders also. People can't stop going out
because they have a family to feed. If political leaders give the right fund allocated by President
Duterte to the people, they may stop the people from leaving their house. They should not
corrupt the funds for the Filipino people. Providing adequate assistance is enough for citizens to
stay in their home.
