1.2 Profile of the Business/Company/Unit:

HISTORY OF TMCWD:

On the 26th day of March 1997, the City Council passed Resolution No. 97—045
with An overwhelming approvalfrom all the local city legislators. The commitment
of the Local Chief Executive Hon. Prudencio M. Panganiban, tolook after the
general well-being of his constituents, in terms of domestic water services,
profoundly approved thesaid resolution.

All the legal impediment contained in PD 198 have been religiously complied.
Upon its creation,the TreceMartires City Water District (TMCWD) is very
fortunate, that on the same date, the Deed of Transfer wassigned. And on July 17,
1998 the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) has approved and issued
theconditional Certificate of Conformance No. 574, that legally recognizing the
existence of TreceMartires City WaterDistrict. All the existing physical facilities,
including sites, rights of way, assets, receivables and other propertiesowned by the
TMC Waterworks System are transferred, ceded, conveyed and turned-over to
Trece.

1.4 Nature of the Business

Trece Martires City Water District is a water institution in Region IV-A. It is


single institution in the current times.
1.5 Mission and Vision of TMCWD

MISSION

 An institution perpetrated to provide the community a sufficient


reliable, sustainable and affordable supply of drinkable water for
the general well-being of the Treceños as its primary concern.

VISION

 To induce and directly persuade the clientele to actively participate


in the responsibility of protecting and preserving the water
resources of the City of Trece martires.
 Motivate the people to properly utilize this precious nature’s gift
for the benefit of the Treceños now and beyond.
 The organization is amenable to uphold and conserve this valuable
commodity as a relevant source of life.
 To serve the concessionaires with utmost sincerity, honesty and
prompt service.
