One upon a time, there was a young man called Ma Liang. He was poor. He helped a rich bad man to tend cattle. He
liked drawing and drew pictures everywhere. One night, he dremed that an old man gave him a magic paintbrush and asked
him to use it to help poor people. When he woe up, he found the magic paintbrush in his desk.
From that day, he used the paintbrush to help people. Whenever he drew pictures, they became real. But a few days
later, his mastre heard about the magic paintbrush and stole it. He drew a lot of picture, but they could not become real. He
was very angry and asked some people to get Ma Liang.
When Ma Lian came, he said to him, “if you draw some pictures for mr and turn them to life, I will set you free. “
The young man said, I can help you, but you should obey your words.” The bad man felt very happy and said, “I want a
golden mountain. I will go there to gather gold, “ The young man drew a sea first. Then the young man drew a golden
mountain which was far away from the sea. After that he drew a big ship. The bad man jumped into the ship. When the ship
sailed to the middle of the sea, the young man drew a large wave and it destroyed the ship. After that, the young man lived
with his family happily and kept on helping the poor people. So the magic paintbrush was known by everyone.

much about everything. Let other animals know what had really happened. You are responsible for it.

A dog and a rooster decided to travel together. At nightfall the rooster, looking for a place to perch, as was his costom,

twinkling the Dog had seized him.

The Monkey and The Crab
Long ago, at the foot of a mountain, lived a crab. On a warm spring day, the crab walked leisurely along a nearby river.
Suddenly a big rice ball dropped in front of her. Oh my God! What a good thing I found, she said to herself.
Then a greedy monkey came. He wanted to have the rice ball. When you eat the rice ball with my fruit seed is better
than that rice ball. When you eat the rice ball, it disappears, but if you put this seed on the ground, it will grow and produce a

monkey to pick some for her and her kid. Yet, the selfish monkey took a hard green fruit and threw it to the crab. She was

The crabs kids started to cry and their noise attracted other animals. They soon found out what happened. The king of
the animals decided to give the monkey a punishment.

Once upon a time there lived a White Snake that had magical power in the Mountain Er-Mei. Once day she wanted to

FaHai wanted to kill the White Snake. He ordered Hsu Sheng to see his son with the White Snake. He gave Hsu
Sheng a magical hat and asked Hsu Sheng to give it to the lady White Snake. The Lady White put on the hat and she
became weak. FaHai caught the Lady White and imprisoned her inside the Thunder Pagoda.
A few years later, son of Lady White and Hsu Sheng grew up. He took revenge by destroying the Thunder Pagoda
and rescued White Snake. Finally, the White Snake reunited with her husband and her son. They lived happily ever after.
