Introductory line

Ladies and Gentlemen thank you and I can't tell you what an
honor it is to be standing here today.
First and foremost, let me introduce myself, I
am________________________________, I’ve been in service since year
2003. I have been to several Police Stations, I formerly served as
Chief of Police at_________________________________________________.
But my most recent one was ________________________________, I
serve as a Commander of 1st Company for two years.
For my long years in service, I am proud to be a part of
Philippine National Police as a reputable institution. I’ve became
respectful to my uniform, I honored my rank and my obligation,
and I treated my subordinates with impartiality and compassion.
Now as the officer in charge of the office of ________________________
I want to reemphasize to you my personal commitment to lead this
command as well as I know how, but I also understand that good
followership on my part is still required.
I am aware that I will never be your most brilliant officer, but I
will try my best to lead you with pride and honor. I pledge to you
that the in all challenges, I will stand with you with all my energy
and perseverance. Hence, starting with me and everyone else under
my command, I expect you to be trust worthy, dedicated and
competent. We should not forget that we are here to uphold the rule
of law and NOT to play around the law. We are bound to “serve and
protect” and not to threaten people with our existence.
Together we will adjust to the major strategic challenges facing
the command. I believe we share a common desire to serve the
nation, hence, I am delighted to join ____________________ family
and we look forward for our accomplishment together. It is an
honor and a privilege to serve with you.
