PMAJ Rickson R Guiab welcomed the graduates of the Public Safety Junior Leadership Course Class 2021-03 and congratulated them on completing their mandatory career course despite challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. He expressed confidence that the graduates were ready to serve as junior leaders with the proper technical skills, moral and ethical standards, and knowledge gained through the course. PMAJ Guiab thanked the students for their cooperation through various learning modalities and encouraged them to make the most of what they learned and make a difference in their respective units.

[Salutations]…

First of all, allow me to congratulate the ___ graduates of the Public

Safety Junior Leadership Course Class 2021-03 _______.

I have known how you have undergone challenges during these trying

times of COVID-19 pandemic since it has been inevitable to face and accept

the new normal way of learning. I am therefore confident that all of you are

ready to be called Junior Leaders especially now that you finally completed

this mandatory career course and as carry the accepted responsibilities as

you attached the PSJLC pin in your uniform.

With proper technical skills, moral and ethical standards that you have

now, I personally believe it had surely equipped you with knowledge and

learnings needed to perform your duties and responsibilities as a good law

enforcer.

It has been almost a year of extraordinary hard work, dedication and

passion for all of us in dealing and coping with chosen learning delivery

modality to meet most essential training requirements. To all students of

PSJLC 2021-03, thank you for being cooperative and responsive in the

implementation of various modes of learning.

Despite of the challenges you have encountered, you stayed focus,

determined and committed from the beginning until this moment of your

graduation. And also my sincere commendations to all training staff of this

Training Center, Mentors and Lecturers for providing the highest degree of

service. I also emphasize the effort of PNP organization to take possible

measures in ensuring that all its members are capable, effective, and

credible police officers in the midst of global health crisis.

It is a worthy achievement indeed and I know that as you hear your

name and see your picture together with your certificate of completion, there

is pride and honor in your heart as you have unlocked another milestone in

your continued quest for excellence.

Surely, you and the training center will meet again as you take it to the

next level of knowledge, skills, and values needed for an effective

management and responsible leadership. And for you to become a refined,

effective and efficient in an ever-changing environment, training must

continue throughout a noble profession of arms and a law enforcer. You

must remember that tactical skills and intellectual competencies are

important but attitude, tolerance and interpersonal skills are equally so.

I therefore encourage each and every one of you to make the most

and the best of what you have learned on this training when you go back to

your respective units and together, let us all make difference.

Just always remember that, ‘If you can speak, you can influence,

and if you can influence, you can change lives’.

Again, to the graduates of PSJLC Class 2021-03__________,

Congratulations. Mabuhay kayo! LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL.
