Course Description
This course introduces students to understand the conventional software management and how to
improve the software economies. It helps in learning the Life cycle phases, artifacts and
workflows of the process. The students will be learning the project organization and
responsibilities and tailoring the process. The student will be able to understand the Next
generation software economies and managing contacts, people. This course is a pre-requisite for
software project management and used for the development of real time software.
Course Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
I. Identify and describe the old and modern theory of software economics.
II. Describe the artifacts, workflows, and checkpoints of a software process.
III. Ouline the importance of planning, organizing, and automation of a process and
project.
IV. Recognize the importance of software contracts, people and team building in modern
projects.
V. Interpret international standards related to software process improvement and
software development.
