Week 3 :Tutorial Tasks:

1. A sample of science activity using the method suggested and presented the lesson in the
interaction on 4.9.2020 Friday is to be attached here.(group work)

Theme/ Topic : Life process of animals

Time : 60 minutes.

Learning standards : 3.2.1 Create an imaginary animal model that can protect itself from

enemies and extreme weather.

3.2.2 Provide reasoning on how specific characteristic of the created

imaginary animal model can protect itself from enemies and extreme

weather.

3.2.4 Explain the observation of the imaginary animal model through

written or verbal forms, sketches, ICT in a creative way.

Learning objectives : At the end of the lesson, pupils are be able to:

1.Creates, names and states how they protect themselves from enemies and

extreme weather.

2.state the characteristic of the animal on how to protect itself from


enemies

and extreme weather.

Activities :

1. Pupils have to think of any animals on how they protect themselves from

enemies and extreme weather based on their knowledge and creativity.

2. Pupils discuss animals.

i) Name the animals.

ii) How do animals protect themselves from enemies and extreme weather?

iii) What is the characteristic of the animals in order to protect themselves

from enemies and extreme weather?

iv) Why do animals protect themselves from enemies and extreme weather?

3. Pupils are divided into five groups and are given a few blank A4 papers.

4. Pupils need to sketch the animal based on their imagination on how the

animal protects themselves from enemies and extreme weather.

5. Pupils are allowed to make any research on the internet to improve their
imaginary animals.

6. Pupils paste pictures of animals on a manila card and write down what are

characteristic of the animal to protect themselves from enemies and

extreme weather.

9. Each group will present their results to the class.

2. Referring the lesson plan done by the group, plan individually another sample of science

LEARNING STANDARD : 4.1.2 explained with an example there is a group of living animal

and live animals alone through observations through various media.

4.1.3 describes the advantages and lack of animals living in a group

and living alone.


4.1.6 explains observations through sketches, EMK, writing or oral.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES : At the end of the teaching and learning process students can:-

1. Describe the advantages and lack of animals living in a group

and live alone.

2. Give an example of a group living animal and live alone.

GLORY CRITERIA : Students can express the advantages and lack of animals living in a

group and alone.

ACTIVITIES :

1. Teachers ask students in groups discussing examples of


living animals and live animals alone and describe the
advantages and lack of animals living in a group and live
alone.
2. Pupils perform activities and present the results of
discussions.
3. Teachers restructure the students ' response.
