2. What is the issue or problem depicted in the photograph? Discuss in exactly 5 sentences for 5 points.

In this picture, it shows many issues and problems about science and technology. Issues about science may lead to
different effects that will affect the society, health, and the environment and also the human beings. E-waste, e-
cigarettes, social media (Facebook) plastics, biotechnology are shown in the picture are some of those issues that
we are facing. I therefore conclude that, Science and Technology are the friend of human but there are also
disadvantages. So we as an individual should be responsible and knowledgeable about it

3. How does this particular issue or problem impact the well-being of humans today? Discuss in exactly 5
sentences for 5 points.

Issues that are stated above impacts the well being of humans nowadays. It impacts the respiratory health
because of the chemicals that e-cigarettes has. Facebook will also affect thd social life of an individual. For the
reason that factory emits plastic wastes it affect the environment causing pollution as well as the health of the
animals and human beings. Biotechnology will lead to wrongfully convicted criminal cases. I therefore conclude
that, issues regarding science and technology will have an impact to all the aspects of human beings nowadays.
4. Why is it important to study and learn about STS as an academic field, especially in addressing the
issue or problem depicted in the photograph? Discuss in exactly 5 sentences for 5 points.

In today's generation we are now living in a modern world where science and technology exist. Studying STS will
surely benefit us in determining what will be the effects of the technology that exist. In the picture that is shown
above, many individuals are affected. STS is the stepping stone in enlightening the individual to become
responsible and knowledgeable on what they are using and how will they use it like Facebook, unused wastes,
emission of plastics and many more. It will help us in utilizing and making solutions of issues we are facing.
