River Reflection

This document reflects on the author's relationship with art over time. As a child, the author felt they were not good at art and did not enjoy it due to lack of encouragement from family and perceived negative feedback. However, engaging in art activities with their son and visiting art museums increased their appreciation. While analytical subjects are a better fit, the author has found teaching art rewarding due to seeing children's creative expression. They remain apprehensive but want to improve their art skills and confidence to better support students.
