   Research Paper
   Title: KML, Explore Geo-Thinking.
Conference: Geomatics-2008, Bhopal (A national conference organized by Indian
Society of Geomatics and hosted by Remote Sensing Application Centre)
Abstract: KML (Keyhole Markup Language) is an XML grammar and a file format for
modeling and storing geographic features such as points, lines, images and polygons
for representation in Google Earth. KML has dynamic features that make it possible
to control the loading of its content on the web. This work shows the general
concepts, uses and comparison of geo-grammatical languages that has changed the
traditional thinking about the Earth and the ease these languages brought to the
whole GIS community, where the visualizations can be mapped using geoweb
engines called geo browsers. Further, Exploring the KML applications on teaching a
student about geographical features to locating the traffic conditions. With the
evolution of services such as WIMAX, the reliability and effectiveness of such devices
has increased the future possibilities in applications managing disasters and network
   operations.
