INT. CLASSROOM – DAY
SCOTT sits alone off to the side of the classroom. He
wears a jumper and is on his phone. He looks up and we
see DAVE and GREG. They are sat in the middle of the
room. Scott is too nervous to go and talk to them. He
shies away from everyone, remaining where he is.
INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT
Scott is on the computer, looking up ‘how to be more
confident’. He wears baggy clothes. He finds an article
on exercise and sees a picture of someone doing push ups.
He tries to do a push up but fails, falling to the
ground. He breathes out, music starts.
INT. CLASSROOM – DAY
Scott sits alone again. He looks over at Dave and Greg,
tapping his foot.
INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT
Scott on computer again, ordering a bench and weights.
Then he is doing push ups again, still struggling but
doing a few.
INT. CLASSROOM – DAY
Scott takes a deep breath and stands up from chair, takes
a step then hastily sits back down again, falling onto
chair, hands connecting with it first.
INT. HOME GYM – NIGHT
Match cut to Scott doing tricep dips. There is a sequence
of him lifting. He will do lat pulldowns, incline
dumbbell press, tricep extensions, leg extensions, fixed
flyes, barbell bicep curls, seated dumbbell shoulder
press and lateral raises, by the last phase. But for now,
he only does a few of these, not using much weight. He is
wearing a hoodie during this.
INT. CLASSROOM – DAY
Scott stands up and takes a few steps forward this time.
But he stops, and walks backwards to his chair, leaning
back which then cuts to…
INT. HOME GYM – NIGHT
…Scott doing incline dumbbell press. More of him working
out and doing more push ups now, wearing an under-armour
t-shirt and shorts now. He performs more from the list of
lat pulldowns, incline dumbbell press, tricep extensions,

leg extensions, fixed flyes, barbell bicep curls, seated
dumbbell shoulder press and lateral raises. The weight
he is using is increasing as well.
INT. CLASSROOM – DAY
Scott stands up and takes a few more steps towards Greg
and Dave, then diverts and walks somewhere else.
INT. HOME GYM – NIGHT
Scott now wears a vest and shorts. He will do lat
pulldowns, incline dumbbell press, tricep extensions, leg
extensions, fixed flyes, barbell bicep curls, seated
dumbbell shoulder press and lateral raises in the last
phase. He now does all of these, using the most weight he
has so far.
INT. CLASSROOM – DAY
Scott sits in his usual place. He looks over and sees
Dave and Greg. Taking a deep breath, he stands up and
walks over to them. When he reaches them, he stops and
they look at him.
SCOTT
(Takes a deep breath - shakily)
