Motivational Letter
My name is Sadia Amin. My date of birth is 27th October 1994. My father’s name is Aminul Islam and
my mother’s name is Bulbul Naher. My father is a Businessman & my mother is a house wife. I have
completed my SSC from Azimpur Girl’s School & College in 2010 and HSC from Udayan Uchcha
Madhyamik Bidyalaya in 2012. I appeared both examinations from Science background and achieved
GPA of 4.94 and 4.10 out of 5.0 respectively. After that, I completed my Bachelor Degree (BBA) from
Southeast University with CGPA – 3.92 (out of 4.00). Now I am applying for the Master’s Degree in
Germany.
Growing up, my grandfather always used to say, “Business is how you make 1 taka into 1,000 taka
and then use that to make a few thousands more.” Then, the concept of business seemed like magic
to me, my little mind could not grasp how that 1 taka multiplied into thousands. My fascination
flourished with me into my teenage years persistently. If I can complete my Masters program from
Germany, hopefully I will see my dreams come true. An education that does not fully address the
international and multicultural realities of the modern world is incomplete. Listening and learning from
others is crucial for professionals in all sectors. I have therefore decided to achieve my degree
overseas, as the expertise and facilities offered in my country’s educational institutions are limited and
thus unable to match the diversity and multiculturalism available in Germany. Master’s Degree from a
reputed university in Germany shall widen my knowledge. It will also help me broadening my
international exposure and refine my knowledge with latest development in this arena.
Compared to the education system of Bangladesh, Germany offers a much more practical scope – we
are not just studying for grades, we are learning. The German education system not only provides a
textbook, theoretical overview but also provides a real time application that is tested outside, in the
real world later in our careers. There are excellent opportunities to gain experience while studying
full time and it is considered as course work; that is too good of a chance to let go. After completing
my higher studies from Germany I will easily build up my career also.
Studying abroad and achieving good grades are challenges for every international student. Now, I am
interested to do my higher study in Germany. There are many reasons behind this. Among most other
civilized country of Europe Germany’s education is the best. Germany is the country with the strongest
economy in Europe. It is called Europe’s economic leader. I am drawn to the universities at Germany
because of its excellent academic reputation, and the international opportunities it grants. I am
convinced that studying abroad has become crucial both for my career, and personal success, as it
would allow me to develop more and more open minded person to widen my horizons, and to extend
my capabilities. A German Degree will certainly improve the curriculum of any international students
and increase their employment perspectives. Germany is also known for its culture and history. It is
really appealing for international students. In addition living and transportation facilities are better than
any other country. For such instance, maintaining, high reputation in having superior standards of
education and research actives with the opportunity to challenge myself motivated on taking Master’s
program. Germany is a higher education paradise. Germany is ranked among the world’s top
destinations for international students. Unlike in any other country, in Germany there are many
worldwide ranked universities, countless courses to choose among, globally valued degrees that
promise a high employability and affordable living costs.
Another reason, I am very keen to learn foreign language. Since childhood I have learnt Bengali as my
first language, and English as an international one. But now, all of my attention is drawn to German
language, I am very eager to learn this language. That is why I have chosen Germany to study at first
place. Studying and living in Germany would give me the possibility to improve my knowledge of
German, Last, but not the least, Germany is surely one of the most beautiful nations in Europe, and the
living expenses for students in Germany are more reasonable, and affordable when compared to the
other countries in Europe.
According to the latest official statistics, there are over 357,000 foreign students seeking a university
degree in Germany whereas the number is steadily increasing.
As the above shows, I am highly motivated and ambitious in doing my Master’s degree in Germany.
By studying in your Master’s program, I hope to extend my vision and meet the challenge of today’s
competitive and globalized era. Your program in English will enable me to achieve the goals I have set
for myself. I expect to have a long career in this field and benefit the whole society. In this way, I hope
to add to the general development of my country and become a leading professional in my field.
Best Regards
Sadia Amin
