Instructions to candidates
This paper is for the use by the supervision only in consultation with the Art teacher.
The paper consisting two alternatives A and B. Candidates are free to choose either
Alternative A or Alternative B

ALTERNATIVE: A
3 ¼ HOURS
Either: The study of living person (Full figure)
A model dressed in a pair of shorts and a T/shirt and bare footed is made to sit
on a coiled stool approximately 40cm high. The model sits facing the candidates with
his/her hands resting on his/her laps crossing each other with the finger pointing down.

Or : Torso
A model sits resting at the back of the chair facing the candidates. The hands are made
to cross each other, while resting on the stomach, with the fingers clearly seen
ALTERNATIVE B:
IMAGINATIVE COMPOSITION IN COLOUR
2 hours – sketching
3 hours practical
