COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
This course discusses the importance of information
technology to any modern organization and made
the case for Information Technology security.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The main objective of this course is to introduce to
students the importance and techniques for ensuring
security to information technology (IT) systems.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course, students should:
Explain possible threats and attacks to information
technologies.
Develop awareness of ensuring security measures to
secure IT systems against possible attacks and threats.
Have knowledge on different security, i.e.,
authentication and identification techniques that are
commonly used to IT systems and their applications.
