Make in India September The Make in India campaign was started by Prime

making and using the products within the
boundaries of our own country. This scheme also
aimed at increasing investments in multiple sectors
like production and manufacturing.
Startup India January 16, This government scheme was launched to support
2016 various entrepreneurs who come up with business
ideas and are unable to convert those ideas into
reality due to the lack of funds. The Government
decided to help these entrepreneurs financially, as
this would also ensure the creation of new jobs.
Government Schemes Launched for Health and Sanitation
India, as a country, is diverse. Also, this diversity comes with a lot of diseases and health
illiteracy. Good health is a human right, and the Government has to ensure that the
population of the country has access to free health care. It has to keep a check on the
availability of various civic amenities like clean drinking water, good quality of life, free
clinics and medicines and a lot more.

Swachh October 2, The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has been one of the
Bharat 2014 most famous Government schemes launched by the
Abhiyan Modi government. The campaign was started with a
mission to make India clean. This movement gained
popularity and is considered as one of the most
successful campaigns ever launched.

National Bal November This scheme is a significant part of the Swachh
Swachhta 14, 2014 Bharat Mission. Under this, the children below the
age of six and expecting and lactating mothers are
offered health benefits by the Government for free
of cost. This scheme also promotes the idea of clean
self, clean food, clean Anganwadis, and clean
surroundings.
Other Important Government Schemes by Modi

1. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna:
The Government of India launched this scheme on 24th February 2019. The Central
Government has allocated an amount of Rs. 50850 Crores for the implementation of the
same.
1. This scheme is designed to help farmers who have a piece of land less than 2
hectares
2. This scheme will also provide aid to farmers who are unable to finance the
expenditures related to agriculture.
3. This scheme has a provision that allows the transfer of Rs. 6000 to the bank
accounts of the farmers in need
2. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna:
This scheme was launched to bring in Financial Inclusivity among the people of India.
1. This scheme was launched to bring in Financial Literacy and also help people to
make use of the financial benefits which are already available with them.
2. Also, it aimed at providing banking services to the people who were not making
use of it.
3. It covers a range of Financial Services like easy credit, remittances and insurances,

3. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao:

This scheme was launched by the Central Government on 22nd January 2015. The
implementation of the scheme is taken care of by the Ministry of Women and Child
Development.
1. It is considered as one of the flagship schemes of the Government which is directly
aimed at making the lives of the female population better
2. The main aim of the scheme is to make the women of society financially and
socially independent.
3. This scheme was also launched to promote the education of the females in the
rural areas of the country.
4. Atal Pension Yojna:
The scheme aims at providing a universal pension scheme for the people who are
working in the unorganized sector, and most of their payments are not recorded. These
people include gardeners, drivers, servants, etc.

2. The main aim of the scheme is to secure the future of the people working in
the unorganized sectors by making a pension provision for them
P5. Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan
This is also a scheme which is aimed at helping the workers of the unorganized sector
like auto drivers, rag pickers, etc.
1. A minimum assured pension of Rs 3000 per month would be given to the
subscriber of this scheme.
2. Also, if the subscriber dies, the spouse of the subscriber would receive 50% of
the pension amount.
3. Also, the scheme can be transferred in the name of the nominee after if the
subscriber dies before the age of 60.

There are many other policies such as the Gold Monetisation Scheme where a person
can deposit his or her gold and will be given interest for the same. Schemes like
Rashtriya Swasthiya Bima Yojana and Employment State Insurance Schemes were
