   • Create a sandwich that opens using a hinge
Materials
   • Paper Sandwich components – bread, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, cheese
   • Paper hinges
Procedure
Review
   • Gather student by saying the tongue twister
   • Ask a few students what they think we could be doing as a craft for this tongue twister –
       introduce sandwich craft
Craft
   • Give instructions on how to attach the two pieces of bread with hinge
   • Let students know that once their hinge has been attached, they will glue the sandwich
      into their poem book
   • Students will be allowed to decorate their sandwich with paper food ingredients or draw
      their own ingredients
Closing
   • Read tongue twister
