It is with great pride and admiration that we have the privilege of celebrating our Montclair
High School Class of 2020 Graduates. It goes without saying that these students have met
the challenge of completing their Senior Year with confidence and grace amidst a time of
great unprecedented crisis. So many things have been lost forever. From Senior Option to Prom, final sports seasons, concerts and
senior days, to walking the halls knowing that it was actually ‘the last time’, among many other moments that seniors are otherwise
guaranteed. We, as Project Graduation 2020, will indeed celebrate these graduates properly once the world safely allows.
As the Steering Committee for Project Graduation 2020, we would like to take this opportunity to express our deep appreciation
for all the dedicated and generous Chair People, Volunteers, Sponsors and Donors that have made this Project Graduation 2020
possible. We are humbled and in awe of the unbridled enthusiasm, talent, support and efforts of this year’s team and the volunteer
       armies they led.
We thank these Champion Chairpeople who dedicated themselves to successfully creating remarkable events and fundraisers:

acordaire Academy marked its 100th year with a variety of celebrations for its
graduating classes in special ways, due to the pandemic.
The celebrations began on June 4 with a kindergarten drive-through
parade, where each graduate left their cars to receive a bag of memorabilia.
Then, on June 5, Lacordaire celebrated its eighth-grade graduates with a “virtual
luncheon,” and four days later, on the day of the scheduled eighth-grade ceremony,
staff and the academy’s mascot, Roary, visited each of the graduates’ homes to deliver
  celebratory lawn signs.
Lacordaire’s graduating seniors, meanwhile, continued the tradition of driving
with their families through the academy circle one last time while being filmed “live”
on Lacordaire’s social media accounts. On the original graduation date, June 6, Head
of School Megan Mannato of Montclair and Director of Guidance Kaitlyn Tashjian
visited each of the graduates’ homes and delivered diplomas, flowers, some cards and
gifts, and their individualized lawn signs.
