SYLLABUS: 2018-2019 [seventeenth year of examination] – SGHS version
This syllabus represents the core material which will be tested on this
Exploratory Latin Exam. Other Latin words can be expected, but will not be the
focus of any question. For nouns, the singular and plural forms are listed.
Adjectives are listed in the masculine and feminine singular forms.
A knowledge of declensions is not required.
There are 50 multiple choice questions [A – D only] in total; 40 will be
questions on the material from the first part of the booklet. The final 10
questions are on the special topic for the year.
