BIOGRAPHY
Sadio Mané (Sédhiou, Senegal, April 10, 1992) is a Senegalese
footballer. He plays as a forward and his current team is Liverpool F.C.
of the Premier League.

Having started his career at France's F.C. Metz, he was transferred to


Red Bull Salzburg in 2012, at the end of his first season. After winning
the Austrian Bundesliga and the Austrian Cup in 2013-14, he signed
for English Southampton F.C. In the 2014-15 season, Mané set a new
record - the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history, when he
scored three times in 176 seconds, in a 6-1 win over Aston Villa. In
2016 he was transferred to Liverpool F.C. for 34 million euros.

He is currently a key piece for Jürgen Klopp in his tactical scheme. In his
first year in the Red team, he was awarded as the best player of the
club in the 2016-17 season.

He has been international for Senegal 71 times since his debut in 2012
and represented the national team at the London 2012 Olympic
Games, the 2015 African Cup of Nations, the 2017 African Cup of
Nations, and the 2018 Soccer World Cup. He was also nominated for
the Ballon d'Or 2019.
