Section 1. Executive Summary
Jute Cookies is a product created by the Senior High School of Ilocos Norte College of
Arts and Trades (INCAT) under the strand of Hotel and Restaurant Services. This business aims
to give healthy product in the community. Through this business many people especially kids
that aren’t eat vegetables.
The business will be owned and managed by Sherylle Joyce Tomas-General Manager,
Kimberly Mae Rocutan- Assistant Manager, Secretary-Angel Pauline R. Andres, Treasurer- Mark
jester Dalere, Ronalyn Pudol and Aprila Mae Agamata- Marketing Manager, and all the
members as the employees.
The capital will be comprised of the 30 pesos contribution of each member and 75 pesos
for each parent which will be added up to 1000 pesos. We expect the income to be 6000 pesos.
They will promote the business through the use of Facebook page and flyers.

I. Business Name: JuteCo
Explanation of the Name of Business:
The Entrepreneurs named their business JuteCo because the product is cookies. Jute
means saluyot and co means cookies. Jute or saluyot is cultivated over a wide range of
environment. The plant grows well in the lowland tropics. It also responds specially to warm,
humid weather, and is other grown near riverbanks. Cold weather and severe periods of
drought can damage the crop.

The entrepreneur chooses this logo because it represents their product which is cookies.
The saluyot plant in the center indicates the flavor of the cookies. The banner indicates the
name of their business which is JuteCo.

I. The Problem/Need
The entrepreneur chooses this business because nowadays, most of kids
or even a teenager doesn’t eat vegetable because of the taste. There is negative
effect of not eating vegetable such as malnourish, lack of Resistencia easy to get
sickness. There are many nutrients in eating vegetable that our body needs like
vitamins, protein etc. That’s the reason why the entrepreneur created/conduct
this product because saluyot contains many vitamins, protein and many more
that our body needs and to help those people who doesn’t want to eat
vegetable.

A. Production Description
The entrepreneur will distribute their products through resellers, meet up and distribute
the products in store. Saluyot leaves are rich in beta carotene for good eyesight, iron for
healthy red blood cells, calcium for a strong bones and teeth, and vitamin C for strong immune
cells, fast wound-healing. In other words, saluyot contains all the important nutrients the body
needs.
B. Target Market
The business’ target market are the children because it has been observed that children
love sweet and they are in need of nutritious from vegetable. The entrepreneur wants to
promote a healthy lifestyle through selling a healthy cookie with saluyot.

Strengths: The strengths of JuteCo include having skilled workers because its employees are
well trained and have NCII in bread and pastry production. Another strength is the ease of
production because JuteCo Cookies are easy to produce.
Weakness: JuteCo’s weakness is poor quality of supplies and, irregular supply source. Another
weakness is having an unattractive design.
Opportunities: there is a big opportunity for JuteCo because it has a big demand for the
product.
Threats: There are many product companies which are very well known to the public such as

JuteCo sell their products through online like facebook page. They also have flyers which
contains their contact numbers which they can contact anytime to order. The JuteCo retails
their product in groceries stores and they also deliver order and meet up customers.
