MECHANICS: BOOK CHARACTER (ANIME)
1. Each contestant will choose their own book character they want to
adopt. (ANIME COSPLAY)
2. Each contestant was given up to three minutes to perform their
routines.
3. Each section should have at least (2) (1 MALE AND 1 FEMALE)
contestants with different book characters.
BOOK CHARACTER PARADE GUIDELINES:
1. This is a contest of showing off the creativity of students in designing
and/or dressing up with their chosen favorite books.
2. Since this is a competition of how you create a mock -up of your favorite
book as your costume, it is expected that your costume will be created
depicting the physical features of the book cover and must be attractive.
3. Students are encouraged not to spend money on costumes, but rather
be “imaginative” in their creativity. Use what is available at home.
Teachers may incorporate costume making as a project or
considerations of points.
4. Students are also encouraged to wear their costumes or bring a change
of clothes during the parade.
5. Criteria for judging are as follows:

1. Each section must have minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 participants.
2. Contestants MUST create their work on any technological device (phone, tablet,
laptop, computer, etc.)
GUIDELINES:
1. The topic should be related to the concept, “Gifted To Give.”
2. Contestants will be given until February 26, 2021 to submit their artwork saved
on a USB Flash drive that will be submitted to their adviser.
3. Their essay must be at least 100 words, or equivalent to at least one page.
4. Winners will be announced in the awarding/ Closing Ceremonies.
5. The participants could a creative application such as Autodesk Sketchbook,
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator in making their digital artwork.

be “imaginative” in their creativity. Use what is available at home.
Teachers may incorporate costume making as a project or
considerations of points.
4. The contestants should record themselves while doing their
performance. The video should be saved in a USB Flashdrive. It

SPOKEN POETRY GUIDELINES:
1. The contestant should follow the TOPIC, “THE DAY YOUR FAITH WAS
SHAKEN” in making their piece.
2. The contestants should make a video presentation regarding the poem
they have made. The video should be saved in a USB Flash drive. It
should be labeled with “(Grade level & section) SPOKEN POETRY”

1. Each section must have minimum of one (1) and maximum of three (3)
participants.
PHOTO ESSAY Competition (Gifted to Give) GUIDELINES:
1. The participant should take their photos following the topic “Gifted to
Give”
2. The participant should submit their best shot. Photos from the internet
are strictly prohibited, if proven, the participant will be automatically
disqualified.
3. The participant should attach an essay with 100 words minimum.
4. The participant should submit his/her output on or before February 26,
2021 saved in a USB Flash drive labeled with “Grade level & section)

#YoungTunes2021 Competition (OPM)
1. Each section must have one (1) male participant and one (1) female
participant that will be vying for two different category. However, if
there is no female participant who is available to join the competition, a
section could have both male participants. The same thing will apply if
there is no male participant.
#YoungTunes2021 Competition (OPM) GUIDELINES:
1. The participant should sing an Original Pinoy Music piece.
2. The participant could wear anything but no revealing costume is
allowed.
3. The participant should record his/her piece, save it in a USB Flash
drive labeled (Grade and Section - #YoungTunes2021 Competition)
and submit it to his/her adviser.

Family Talent Show Competition
1. Each section must have one (1) family participant: either student-
mother, student-father, student-brother, student-sister.
Family Talent Show Competition GUIDELINES:
1. The participants should present any talent they want to show to the
audience.
2. The presentation should have a duration of 3 (minimum) to 5 minutes
(maximum).
3. The participant should record their performance, save it in a USB Flash
drive labeled (Grade and Section – Family Talent Show Competition)
and submit it to his/her adviser.
