VAC-COM FUNCTION CODING ON

SKODA OCTAVIA A7 / A7FL

version 1.110.7 dated 01/27/2019

FAQ (INSTRUCTION)

Q: WHAT IS NECESSARY TO USE CODING DATA?

A: Car, VAG-COM cord, VCDS program or Vasya diagnostician, working brains and straight arms (or a friend with all this).

Q: WILL THE CODES DESCRIBED HERE FIT OTHER VAG CARS?

A: Possibly. Blocks on cars of the VAG family are often used the same, however, the physically installed equipment may differ. You can try at your own peril
and risk.

Q: WHY ARE NOT ALL CODES FOR THE OCTAVIA A7 HERE?

A: There are exactly two options: 1 - some encoding was unknown at the time the file was created ( inform please, about her); 2 - only encodings are
indicated here, which do not require the installation of additional equipment. As a rule, the instructions for installing additional equipment contain
coding for its connection and configuration. Perhaps, the file will soon be supplemented with such encodings, but for now it is a kind of Lite version.

Q: THESE CODES HAVE A DIFFERENT NAME ON THE INTERNET, WHY?

A: Because the names in the primary sources were often given in a hurry to celebrate the discovery. Here I tried to name things (encodings,
systems, functions) by their correct names. If something goes wrong, we are all human - correct ...

Q: WHY DO I NEED THE SECTION "BASICS", IN FACT I KNOW EVERYTHING, AND TO PRINT AN EXTRA 5 SHEETS?
A: Of course, this information will be superfluous for a real professional, but this file itself is unlikely to be useful to him (for sure there are some
developments). The rest, as in assembling IKEA furniture, may not read the "Basics" and immediately get to work. When the question arises “why am I
missing a bit?”, Or “I cannot understand what block I have,” then the separator may be useful!

Q: I HAVE AN ENGLISH VERSION OF THE SOFTWARE AND IT'S NOT CLEAR IN WHICH BLOCK TO GO IN WHICH ITEM TO CHOOSE.

A: Translator to help you. You can also look at screenshots of points 2 and 3 Error! The link source was not found. - there are numbers for each block and
item, which remain the same in different versions of the program. In general, it is better to get hold of the Russian-language version of the program, ideally
the licensed "Vasya diagnostician"!

Q: CAN I USE THIS FILE FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES?

A: Everyone has their own karma, everyone decides for himself. All information specified in this file was obtained free of charge and this file is also
distributed free of charge.

Q: WHAT DOES THE VERSION OF THIS FILE MEAN?

A: The first digit changes when there are fundamental changes, the second shows how many encodings are in the file, the third changes when you make
slight linguistic and spelling changes. You need to download the current version only if there are changes in the first two digits.

A RESPONSIBILITY
Everything that you do, you do at your own peril and risk! According to available information from OD, the guarantee rules have been tightened. All OD
received the official TPI from the technical support service for installing any special stages and activating various functions. In which it is said that even
with the harmless activation of "Corner" and the installation of diode lamps, not to mention more serious modifications, OD has the right to refuse
warranty repair of the car's electrical equipment.

Be extremely careful!

The numbering of bytes, bits starts from zero! 0

byte, 1 byte…. 29 bytes
0 bit, 1 bit ... 7 bit
Bits can be manually set to "1" for the enabled bit for binary code (from the end). For example: 00000001
is the on bit "0"
00000010 is the included bit "1"

five
1. CONTROL AND DYNAMICS

1.1 Activation / adaptation of DSR

Features of the
Activation and adaptation of DSR allows you to adjust the dynamic change in steering effort depending on the vehicle speed.
"Characteristic curve of steering assistance" has 5 values:
• Driver profile ...,
• Comfort (when driving slowly, the steering wheel is light, as you accelerate the steering wheel becomes heavier) Automatic

• Dynamic (always remains heavy)
• Default
Driving Profile switchover has 2 meanings:
• direct (step, steer on a threshold, bring the rudder back to zero faster) incremental (step, steer on time, return
• the rudder over time)
Direct, unlike incremental, returns the steering wheel to its original position (straight ahead) when cornering, this effect is especially felt in low speed maneuvers.

This is an incorrect description! As it turned out:

1) "Characteristic curve of steering assistance" - here the general "gain" / "relief" of the steering wheel is set.
2) "Driving Profile switchover" - here the "logic" of amplification is selected. direct - always the same as selected in the first paragraph; incremental - at low speeds it is easier, at higher speeds it becomes
heavier (and how much heavier it is, is selected in the first paragraph).

Encoding:
Block 44 → login-password 19249 → coding long encoder → Byte 0 → enable Bit 7 (from 01, now 81) Block 44 →
adaptation →
• Characteristic curve of steering assistance → select the desired value → save

• Driving Profile switchover → select the desired value → save

Notes (edit)
Who loves a light steering wheel - Comfort and incremental
Who loves an active driving profile - Dynamic and Direct

1.2 Extended ESС function

Features of the
Extended Electronic Stability Program (ESC) function
Encoding:
Block 03 → adaptation 10 → channel
MAS00122-Electronic stability control system → activate

1.3 ESC Sport / ESC Off

Features of the
the ability to limit or disable the ESC system - ESC Sport / ESC Off
ATTENTION! To activate, you must have an ABS block with 30 byte coding.

Encoding:
Block 03 → coding long encoder → Byte 29 • bit 1, bit 2 • enable
- value = 06 (for Swing) Byte 29 • bit 0, bit 3 • enable - value = 09
(for Bolero) or

03 block - Long coding - Byte 29, bits 0 and 2 on, bits 1 and 3 off.

1.4 Auto enable ESC (over 100 km / h)

Features of the
Activation of automatic activation of ESC upon reaching the speed of 100 km / h, if it was deactivated

Encoding:
03 block → Login 20103 → Adaptations → Channel "Activation depending on speed" → enable!
if you don't want ESP to turn on back at speeds above 100 km / h

6
Block 03 → adaptation → ESP activation depending on speed (Electronic stabilitin program) → deactivate → save

Note
I did not find this channel for myself

1.5 ESC menu

Features of the
ATTENTION! To activate, you must have an ABS block with 30 byte coding.
ATTENTION! on machines of 2016-17, it is possible to install 31-byte ABS blocks, and so there is the last byte, usually there is a value of 03, so you don't need to touch it !!!

Encoding:
For ABS units with 30 byte coding
Block 03 -> coding long encoder -> byte 29 • bit 0, bit 2 • enable (value = 05, which for Swing, gives the ESC menu
with the following items - ESC On, ASR Off, ESC Off)
Can be replaced with the following values:
• 05 —ESC On / Off + ASR Off 06
• - ESC On / Off + ESC Sport 07
• - ESC On / Off + ASR Off 08
• - ESC On / Off + ESC Sport
• 09 —ESC On + ASR Off + ESC Sport

For ABS units with 29 byte coding

25 bytes in it are standard 2A encoding, change it to 3A press Enter
Note
The values 05 or 07 and 06 or 08 depend on the ABS unit. Also the default was 02.

1.6 Configuring ASR

Features of the
Adaptation of ASR (vibration reduction system at start), selection of the system response threshold at the start - there are 3 values:
• Normal (less cutting),
• Strong (default),
• Maximum (for those who do not want to wash the rubber, but the system chokes the engine),

Encoding
Block 03 → login-password 20103 → adaptation → IDE05337-Starting vibration reduction → select the desired value →
save

1.7 Activating TSC

Description
TSC - Torque Compensation, Lane Control Assistant. This function allows you to exclude, and at some points to minimize the steering to the right with sharp acceleration.
Acts at a sharp increase in speed and does not allow the machine to deviate from the straight-line movement.
Features of the
There are 3 meanings:
- 00-Torgue Steer Compensation (TSC) inactive,
- 04- Torgue Steer Compensation (TSC) with learned Value active - recommended,
- 08-Torgue Steer Compensation (TSC) without learned Value active.
Important !!! When coding with a Chinese string, most likely the list of these 3 values will not be available, so we turn on the desired bit 2 this is 04-value or bit 3 gives 08-value, off
bit 2, bit 3 gives 00- value.
Encoding
Block 44 → login-password 19249 → coding-long coding → Byte 0 → enable Bit 2 or Bit 3
Notes (edit)
In the process of changing block 44, it will swear at ESC, tire pressure monitoring. Clear errors in block 03, and in block 01.

1.8 Activating / Configuring HHC

Description
HHC (Hill Hold Control) - holding the car at the beginning of the movement when descending or ascending a slope until the driver presses the gas pedal.
This hill start assist allows you to move your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal when starting up hill without holding the car with the parking brake. The
systemmaintains the pressure in the brake system for 2 seconds after releasing the brake pedal and is activated on inclines steeper than 5%, provided that the driver's door is
closed, only when starting off on an incline, both when moving forward and when reversing.

7
There are 3 meanings:
- early (early),
- normal,
- late.
Features of the
Tested on 30 bytes (MK100ESP 033001 (SK37)), auto 2013.
On a car in 2014 29 bytes (MK100ESP 063 ***) ref. the encoding is not risked different.

Encoding
(for cars with automatic transmission)

Block 03 → coded-long coded → Byte 25 → bit 0, bit 5 • enable (" 20 "will be replaced by" 21 ")
(for cars with manual transmission)

Block 03 → coded-long coded → Byte 25 → bit 0 → enable

Then (for cars with automatic transmission and manual transmission)

Block 03 → adaptation → MAS02138-Assistant for travel on the rise → select the desired value → save

1.9 Activating Indirect TPMS

Description
When Indirect TPMS (Indirect Tire Pressure Sensor) is running, the information is taken from the ABS unit. If the wheel is flat, then its radius decreases and the rotational speed
increases. If this change persists for a certain time, then the on-board computer issues a warning about the need to check.

Features of the
Only for cars with ESC system!

Encoding
Better not to copy. The number 02 is responsible for the CAP, it does not matter 29, 30 or more bytes. Correct
activation of the indirect tire pressure sensor.
Block 03 -> long coding ->
• byte 27 → include bits 4 and 5 ( 1st option) or bits 4,5,6 ( 2nd option - for the pilot's park)
• byte 28 → turn on bit 7
• byte 29 → write the value 02 ( or 06, 07, 08, 09) - will differ in the ESC menus, we could have already done this in section 1.5
Block 17 → long coding → byte 4 → turn on bit 0. ( Indirect Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) installed)
Block 5F → adaptation →
• (13) - Vehicle function list BAP-tire_pressure_system_0x07 → value "active"
• (14) - Vehicle function list BAB-tire_pressure_system_0x07_msg_bus → value "data bus chassis" (many
have it initially)
• (56) - Vehicle menu operation-menu_display_rdk → value "active"
• (58) - Vehicle menu operation-menu_display_rdk_over_threshold_high → value "active" (often initially)

We clean the 3rd block from errors.

Notes (edit)
The sensor menu should appear in the radio settings, where you can save / reset the tire pressure memory. Sometimes the pressure error can hang. To remove, turn off the
coding in the tidy, and then turn it on again.
one. Do not be afraid of error in the 3rd block after setting the bits, it will go away.
2. In order for the SET button to appear in the menu, either reload the radio tape recorder, or reset the "Tires" to the factory settings
3. The SET button does not appear immediately, after 5 minutes, or even more. It is better to turn off the ignition, open the door and close the water and wait
at least 10. The system is calibrated in six (!) Speed ranges: 10-40, 40-60, 60-80, 80-100, 100-120 and over 120 km / h. It works confidently in those ranges in which the calibration
process is completed by 60-100%. Naturally, with a turned steering wheel, active acceleration and braking, the calibration process is interrupted. Well, its performance and
functionality depends on the correct activation and configuration of the system.

1.10 BDW adaptation

Features of the
BDW (Brake Disc Wiper) - "drying discs", allows you to leave the brake discs dry and clean in rainy weather. The system is activated when the wipers are turned on (manually or
automatically) for more than 5 seconds
There are 3 values: weak, strong, default. worth (weak)
Encoding
Block 03 → adaptation → Disk drying → select the desired value → save

eight
1.11 Activating / Configuring XDS

Features of the
Activation of the XDS function allows you to brake the inner wheel for a better entry into the turn. It is done only by
Odis, although it seems that Vasya can
5Q0 907 379 - 03 block without letter at the end - WITHOUT ESP, only ABS - almost nothing can be configured in it 5Q0 907 379 - 03 block
with letter A at the end - with ESP, but no XDS
5Q0 907 379 - 03 block with the letter K, R at the end - with ESP, with full support for everything. There are three
meanings of how XDS works:
• minimum
• normal
• maximum

Encoding
Block 03 → Long coding → Byte 23 → check the boxes in bits 1 and 2 ( If the jackdaw was on bit 1, put also bit 2 and
vice versa)

Or Block 03 → Long coding → Byte 23, activate bits 1,2,6.

then setting
Block 03 → Login 20103, Adaptations → Expanded electronic differential lock → maximum → activate

Notes (edit)
For motors up to 110 kW byte 23 Enable bit 1 For motors with 135 and 155
kW byte 23 Enable bit 2 For motors above 162 kW byte 23 Enable bits 1 and
2 Both bytes have been activated.

1.12 Deactivation of the "Start-stop" system

Encoding
Block 19 → adaptation → [VN] _Start_stop_voltage_limit: → [LN] _start_stop_voltage_limit: 7.6 [UN] _V 12.0
or
Block 19 → adaptation → (1) start / stop Au.Temperaturvorgabe-Minimaltemperatur ( select the channel at the very bottom) → change
value to "50" ( the default is "-50")

1.13 Reconfiguring the accelerator pedal

Features of the
Possible options for values of 0 bytes: 0C or 01
- from the factory
09 - Skoda / Seat / Volkswagen
0A - Audi option 1 02
- Audi option 2

Encoding
Block 01 → closed area 16 → enter code 27971 → encoding 07 → byte 0 → Bit 0 → change to bit 1 ( was 01 (Skoda), now 02
(Audi)) -> coding -> long coding -> 0 Byte → write 0C.
Notes (edit)
After that, it is necessary to adapt the damper. But the most complete effect will be after the adaptation of DSG-7
PS there may be mistakes!

1.14 Elimination of "bluntness" of the gas pedal

Any unauthorized deviation from this manual does not guarantee further correct operation of the vehicle's electronics systems. We select the firmware from the
corresponding folder and flash the engine ECU.
!!!!!!!! In no case do we change the firmware letter - only the numbers are the version !!!!!!!!
If your revision number coincides with the latest update, you need to downgrade the version (upload an earlier firmware) and then flash the current update, otherwise the
firmware will not upload correctly. The firmware of the 01 block on the MQB is almost always not the first time. After each unsuccessful attempt, exit the firmware menu
and clear errors in block 01. And so until the firmware is filled in correctly. Next, open the ODIS service - Diagnostics. → We choose the new most powerful A3 221 kW. →
Uncheck the guided troubleshooting box. 01 block - slave functions - throttle adaptation.

This concludes our procedure.

nine
1.15 BAS adaptation

Features of the
BAS (Brake Assist System) The emergency braking system is an electronic pressure control system in the hydraulic brake system, which, in the event of emergency braking
and insufficient effort on the brake pedal, independently increases the pressure in the brake line.

In both cases, channel 10 is setting the brightness, which by default has a value of 65, I changed it to 85. Thus, I ensured that in the DRL mode, in addition to the front lights, the
outermost parts of the rear lights (vertical stripes) are also lit. I liked it more, but you can, of course, ignite the dimensions completely by activating two more channels per headlight.

Next, you need a translation of actions that can be hung on a particular lamp:
- Blinken links Hellphase - works when the left turn signal lights up Blinken links
- Dunkelphase - works when the left turn signal goes out
- Blinken rechts Hellphase - works when the right turn signal lights up

23
- Blinken rechts Dunkelphase - works when the right turn signal fades out
- Blinken links aktiv (beide Phase) - works constantly when the left turn signal is working Blinken rechts aktiv (beide Phase) - constantly when the right turn signal is
working
- Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht, Positionslicht, Begrenzungslicht) - Lights up in Parklicht links mode (beidseitiges Parklicht
- aktiviert li & re) - Lights up in Park mode. fire lion (hold off) Parklicht rechts
- - lit in park mode. fire right (switch off)
- Abblendlichts links - used with close left fire Abblendlicht rechts - used with
- close right fire Fernlicht links - lit with far left fire
-
- Fernlicht rechts - lights up with far right fire Lichthupe generell - turns on
- when the distant one blinks Nebellicht links - lights up when the left PTF is
- turned on Nebellicht rechts - lights up when the right PTF is turned on
- Tagfahrlicht - lights up when DRL
-
- Bremslicht - lit when the brake is pressed
- Rueckfahrlicht - lit when reversing
- Nebelschlusslicht - lights up when the rear PTF is switched on Heckdeckel offen - lights up
- when the trunk is opened Heckdeckel geschlossen - lights up when the trunk is closed
- Dimmung klemme 58xs - the brightness is regulated by the regulator from the passenger
- compartment
- Innenlicht - (in theory, it should depend on indoor lighting) but smoothly on. When open. doors Kofferraumlicht - lights up
- when you turn on the light in the trunk (when open)
Now, what to actually do with it:
We are looking for the lamp we need, its type will be indicated in the first channel. [LO]
_Lasttyp 5 Then comes the so-called function for this lamp A [LO] _Lichtfunktion A
The next item is the brightness as a percentage for this function for two channels [LO] _Dimmwert AB
Then the point that determines the direction of the change in brightness, ie attenuation or vice versa, is designated as min or max [LO] _Lichtansteuerung HD Then again the
function, but already B
And again the brightness

And again the direction

and so on down the list. Of course, some of the functions will already be taken, so we are looking for a free one and select the desired action, then in the next paragraph we set the
brightness for this function, the direction of the brightness change.
Probably not everyone understands. I also did not immediately understand this whole sequence of functions and brightness correctly, but now I will give an example and you will immediately understand
everything.
Let's take a closer look at a couple of examples.

Example one: Dimming when turning on the turn signal: (Audi Style):
09 - Onboard supply control unit → 16- Closed area → Enter the code - 31347 → Execute → 10- Adaptation select the channel:
- Leuchte2SL VLB10 light function G 2 we select the value active flashing left (both phases), i.e. here we set for the left dimension in the function G2 the action
when the left turn signal is working - active flashing left in both phases -both phases, because the turn signal when turned on , we have two working states lit
unlit.
- Leuchte2SL VLB10-dimming GH 2 set the value 35 - here we set the brightness for the G2 function
- Leuchte2SL VLB10 dimming Direction GH 2 select the value "minimize" and here we set the direction of the brightness change in our case to decrease.

Thus, if you translate these actions into understandable language, then it will sound like this - for the Leuchte2SL VLB10 lamp in the free function G2, set the following -
when the left turn signal is working, reduce the brightness to 35 percent.
We set the same actions for the right side:
- Leuchte3SL VRB21 light function G 3 set the value "Flashing right active (both phases)" Leuchte3SL
- VRB21-dimming GH 3 set the value 35
- Leuchte3SL VRB21 dimming Direction GH 3 select the value "minimize"

Example two: Blinking the turn signal and size:

09 - Onboard supply control unit → 16- Closed area → Enter the code - 31347 → Execute → 10- Adaptation select the channel:
- Leuchte2SL VLB10-Lichtfunktion G 2 as we can see in our list is the left-hand size lamp. In the free function G2, select the action Blinken links aktiv (Hellphase) for it,
which means, based on the table, that the gauge will work when the left turn signal lights up, just when it lights up.

- Leuchte2SL VLB10-Dimmwert GH 2 set the value to "0" while the brightness of the left side should be zero percent. Leuchte2SL VLB10-Dimming Direction GH 2 select the
- value "minimize", that is, it should decrease to zero.
That is, in translation it sounds like when the turn signal lights up, the envelope should go out to a brightness of 0 percent, respectively, when the turn signal goes out, it will
light up again.
For the right dimension Leuchte3SL VRB21-Lichtfunktion G 3 all the same, only the action for the function is selected for the right turn Blinken rechts aktiv (Hellphase).

Well, and another example, as Vladimir.fin explained to me, as if:

"In function adaptation (ABCDEFGH) there are a lot of meanings, you need to translate what you need and choose. And behind the functions there is brightness, goes to 2
channels. For example, I made a PTF for myself as a DRL. I went into the left fog, there A as tumanka, B as a corner I don't remember how to see off, D. I went to the free
channel E and marked it as DRL and set 80% in the brightness of EF. It also works with the right one. I also brought the gabatires to a constant with low beam. "

3.38 Activating MKE

Description
MKE - Fatigue Recognition System.
Fatigue detection is based on an analysis of the driver's actions on the steering wheel. When the system recognizes that the driver is beginning to fall asleep, it beeps and also
displays a text message on the display in the instrument cluster, urging the driver to stop and take at least a short rest. The function is available at speeds above 65 km / h. The
system takes about 15 minutes from the moment the vehicle starts driving to collect sufficient "statistics" of the driver's behavior, on the basis of which it will be able to recognize
the onset of fatigue during the further trip. In addition to the nature of the influences on the steering, data on the road situation (speed, pressing the accelerator pedal, direction
indicator, time of day, duration of the trip, etc.) are also taken into account, as well as the use by the driver of the controls of various systems (air conditioning, telephone, etc.). These
data are transmitted via the CAN bus to the gateway and analyzed there.

4.10 Improving the sound of the built-in radio

Features of the
The 11 byte encoding is essentially a trifle, it allows you to open the Surround and Subwoofer menus in the new GU (Swing2, Bolero Mib2). For each GU, the value is selected
differently. If the error is in block 11, then the wrong one is selected.
A more radical change in sound is tuning in frequencies and increasing the incoming tone.

Encoding
For Swing2 Block 5F → login-password 20103 → coding-long coding → 11 Byte → replace with "04"
For Bolero Block 5F -> Coding (COD) -> [LO] _byte_11_Sound_System -> [VO] _Sound_System_no_Allocation
We do it in OE or VCP - when enabled. ignition, but not started the internal combustion engine.

1. We do for all pcs. MIB of radio tape recorders on MQB:

Block 5F → login-password 20103 → execute → adaptation 10 →
• channel "(1) -Electrical test of loudspeakers-Mode" - set to "manual" , in the stock "automatic".
Next, we edit all the other paired channels of all speakers:

• channel (2) -Electrical test of loudspeakers-Parameter_AC-Diagnostics_Channel_1_Test_Frequency → 20,000, in stock "19000"

• channel (3) -Electrical test of loudspeakers-Parameter_AC-Diagnostics_Channel_1_Test_Volume → 85 ", in stock "22" (Columbus) or
"48" (Bolero)
• etc. further below all the channels, up to "... _Channel_16_ ...".
Further

• channel (1) -Check tone frequency-High note frequency range → 10000, in the stock "4000 Hz" (COlumbus, Bolero) or "3000" (Swing).
• channel (2) -Check tone frequency-Medium note frequency range → 4000, in stock "1000 Hz" (COlumbus, Bolero) or "1000" (Swing).
• channel (3) -Check tone frequency-Low note frequency range → 400, in stock "100 Hz" (COlumbus, Bolero) or "100" (Swing).
Further

• Audio management input gain-TV Tuner channel → "-1", in stock "-128 dB"
• Audio management input gain-Radio (FM) channel → "-1", in stock "-128 dB"
• Audio management input gain-Radio (AM) channel → "-1", in stock "-128 dB"

2. Change the encoding:
For Swing: 5F-07-LC-Byte 11-remove bit 0 and set bit 4 or put in HEX: 04. In stock - 01 (incl. - Sound_System_Internal) ...
For Bolero: 5F-07-LC-Byte 11-set bit 0 and set bit 2 or set in HEX: 05. In stock - 01 (incl. - Sound_System_Internal).
Other options:
00 - sometimes: swing, in set style set 01 - factory
default
02 - canton
04 and 05 - bolero and seat FR. The difference between setting 05 and 04 is that 05 has more bass.

For Golf 7 / Columbus / Discover Pro:

5F-07-LC-Byte 11-do not change anything, leave it in stock in HEX: 01.
For Canton:
5F-47-07-LC-Byte 0 - put in HEX: 23. In the stock - "03".
Or, change "byte_0_brand_sound" - set "Fender". In the drain - "default". After
activation, the sound becomes more bass.
Turn on sound from USB / SD. We go with the button to "Sound", to "Sound settings", below "Additional CANTON settings", below we see the active setting "CANTON Surround", check and change the depth
of the volume with the fader to the maximum, moving the fader all the way to the right. Surround sound will be available for both radio and other sources. Volume fader setting - available only from external
sources and is not active in radio mode.

3. Change the settings in GEM:

We turn on the engineering menu of the radio (GEM).

In VCP: 5F, we transfer the diagnostic mode to engineering.

5F-10 - "Developer mode" channel - set "activated". In stock - "not activated".
At Odis Engineering: On the right in the action window - in the root tab "Diagnostic function", select the item "009 - Diagnostic Session", in the window that opens, select "Developer mode".

5F-10 - "Developer mode" channel - set "activated". In stock - "not activated".

We hold the MENU key for a long time. First there will be the first inf. mode available to everyone, in which additional. tabs. Then, after another 15 seconds, while holding,
another mode will open.
Change in GEM:
- for Columbus - do not touch anything;
- for Swing 2, Bolero 1/2, Amundsen rule GEM:
GEM -> main -> audmng ->: set the active item "config_table_persist"
further, go to the "input_gain" sub-item and set all sliders to "7".

4.17 Activating TMC

Feature
TMC - Traffic Message Channel is a technology that is used to transmit information about traffic jams and adverse road conditions. Support for TMC functions allows the
car's navigation system to obtain information about areas with traffic incidents and to build an alternative route to avoid problem areas.

4.18 Adapting microphone sensitivity

Coding
5F • Adaptations • [VN] _Microphone sensitivity • [LN] _sensitivity: default is 0 , you can set from -10 to 10, the value
in decibels. We put 10 and voila, even a whisper can be heard

4.19 120km / h warning

Encoding

4.21 Setting the maintenance interval

Feature
It is recommended to first reset the intervals by pressing the "0.0 / SET" button on the tidy (how to do this, read the manual for octavia - page 37)
Encoding
Everything is done in block 17, in Adaptations:
Installation of inspection service:
• Setting the mileage before the inspection service - Fix: Max. distance until next mileage-related inspection
• Setting the mileage after the inspection service - FIX: Distance covered since last mileage-dependent inspection
• Setting the time elapsed after the inspection service (in days) - FIX: Time since last time-dependent inspection
Oil change service installation:
• - Setting the mileage before oil change service - SIA: maximum value of distance to service
• - Setting the mileage after oil change service - SIE: distance driven from inspection
• - Setting the time elapsed after the oil change service (in days) - SIE: time from inspection
Or
Block 17 adaptation → SIE: maximum Value of time to service → enter the desired value → to keep
Note
After changing these adaptations, it was possible to achieve the values I needed (because I do not want to change the oil every 15,000 km, but earlier), which are shown in the
Bolero, in the Tech. service.

4.22 Speed limit signs

4.24 Free space in the tank

Features of the
In general, the function is so-so due to the large error. But it seems like there is a possibility of calibration.
Encoding
Block 17 • Long coding • Byte 10 • Bit 4 • enable ( if there are no 4 bits, In the binary code, the fourth character is 1)
Increasing the adaptation value lowered the Mpg data displayed on the MFA. So, If you want to lower the average MPG displayed on the dash, try increasing the adaptation
value to 102% -> 105%. If you wanted to Increase the Mpg on the display, lower the Adaptation value to 95% -> 98%.
Correction (5 liters more) of free space in the tank.
Block 17 • Long coding • Byte 2 • put 06 You can painlessly choose option 2 and 3

Byte encoding [ LN] _tank_variant:

By default there are:
[VN] _variant_1 - station wagon, 4x4 (5E0920871B)
[VN] _variant_3 - sedan (liftback) (5E0920861B) [VN]
_variant_2 - sedan (5E0920750B)
[VN] _variant _... - sedan (5E0920761В)
For tidy 5E0920761B put [VN] _variant_7
And as an option to understand the curve (you need a password to change the values, do not change)
[VN] _Fuel_tank_sender_calibration_offset_values:
[LN] _Offset_G1: - 12.8 [UN] _l
[LN] _Offset_G2: 12.7 [UN] _l

It is necessary to take into account which paddle switches are installed: with buttons on the on-board computer or without buttons on the on-board computer.

• If there are no onboard buttons, then Buttons for multi-function display: not installed
• If there are onboard computer buttons, then Buttons for multi-function display: installed
If the coding is incorrect, there will be an error in the 16th block for an open circuit.
