New Multi-Unit Control Method
-Effective energy-saving: Capacity control method is changed from full-speed to I-type
-Advanced extensibility: Each unit is connected by RS486 cable for future extension
-Improved user-friendliness: Touch panel with interactive type 5.7 inch color LCD screen
-Sophisticated function： Pressure predictive control, PID control (2-loop method) exclusively
for V-type, Second pressure setting, Weekly timer, PE connection
(Future option: Remote monitoring by PC)

In the future, when more compressors are to be installed, it can be easily
done by changing the MEX setting, installing the slave unit in the compressor,

IPI-Blackout Auto Restart Function

→The operating unit judges as abnormal stop and starts up the stopped unit and
continue auto operation

Precautions on System
［Compressor Operation］
-HISCREW 2000 V-type
MEX executes PID control during auto operation. For solo operation, additional
shift circuit of pressure control is required. (Additional modification for specific
circuit is required.)
PQ WIDEMODE must be OFF for V-plus unit.
-Cautions for maintenance
In order for MEX to restart automatically after sudden blackout, make sure to set
compressor as solo and keep the breaker off.
［Controlled unit quantity］
-Slave unit must be installed for each compressor, separate air dryer, and cooling
water pump.
-The max. controllable quantity is 26 units. (Max. 12 units of compressors,
max. 12 units of separate air dryers, and max. 2 units of cooling water pumps.)

-Consult with your nearest Hitachi distributors for non-Hitachi compressors.

Precautions on System
［Electricity］
-Combination with DSP V-type
Power system must be the same as compressor.
(Both must be set to OFF when IPI occurs）
-Cautions on wiring （wiring and earthing）
Wire separate shielded line for AC200V system wiring and DC24V
system wiring.
Each earth must be grounded firmly into the ground.
V-type must be grounded separately.
