} Use a mechanical cutter to remove loose, damaged, or hollow-sounding sections of the concrete screed in
localized areas (pockets).
} Thoroughly clean the exposed concrete screed with clean water to remove any dirt, dust, or loose particles.
} Prepare a 1:1 (by volume) mix of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP polymer and cement. Apply bond coat using a brush to
the entire exposed concrete surface. Prepare a polymer-modified mortar (PMM) by mixing Dr. Fixit Pidicrete
URP (10% by weight of cement) with M20 concrete mix in a 1:1.5:3 ratio (one bag of 50kg cement: 1.5 parts
sand: 3 parts coarse aggregate).
} Level the repair and damaged areas of the concrete screed in a smooth trowel finish, creating a proper slope
for drainage.
} Keep the repaired surface moist for 7 days, this can be achieved by spraying water regularly or covering the
area with wet burlap.
} Allow the entire screed to air cure for an additional 4-5 days before applying roof top coat coating system.

2 . CR ACK R E PA I R :
} All hairline cracks which are more than 0.50 mm in width and not giving hollow sound, should be cut, and
widened in V shape with mechanical cutter in the size (8mm W x 6mm D) and fill with Feviseal HY100 Hybrid /

} Carefully chip and hack away the surface around the rainwater drain outlet mouth to a depth of approximately
25 mm. This creates a roughened surface for better adhesion.
} Prepare a 1:1 (by volume) mix of SBR-based polymer and cement bond coat slurry and apply over the corners
and gaps around the water pipe outlets.
} Prepare a polymer-modified mortar (PMM) mixed with 10% SBR-based polymer (by weight of cement) in a 1:3
ratio and fill the gaps around the drain mouth with PMM, finishing etc complete. Allow the repaired surface to
cure as per standard practice.
} Embed a 100 mm wide strip of either 45 gsm fiberglass mesh or 40-60 gsm geotextile fabric around the
entire perimeter of the drain mouth.
} Apply two thick coats of Dr. Fixit Wonderproof 100 waterproofing coating to completely cover the mesh/fabric
and surrounding area.
} Allow the first coat to air cure for 3-4 hours, apply a second coat of Dr. Fixit Wonderproof 100 over the entire
treated area around the rainwater outlet.
