3. An international student’s magazine is asking for articles on the question : “What


can tourists see in your country?” Write your article in 120-140 words.

In the heart of one of the most beautiful cities in Romania is the Alba Carolina Bastion Fortress,
which preserves the historical and cultural testimonies of the events that led to the formation of
the Romanian people. After the restoration, the fortress became a tourist attraction and a symbol
of the city, being visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists annually. You can visit the Union
Hall, the cell where Horea stayed before he was executed, and through the beautiful ditches of
the fortress you can ride a bike or an electric tricycle.
The beauty of Peles Castle is known beyond the borders of Romania, being considered one of the
most beautiful castles in Europe. It was built at the request of King Carol I between 1866-1914
and was the summer residence of the kings of Romania. Peles Castle has a unique character both
for its historical and artistic value and remains one of the most important monuments in Europe.
The most mysterious place in Romania and the place where a series of inexplicable phenomena
were investigated and analyzed. The Hoia Baciu forest annually attracts many curious people and
tourists who cross this gate between the worlds, hoping to catch a piece of paranormal. Beyond
these legends and stories, the forest is truly spectacular, and the trees are famous for their
unusual shape.
