Subject: Price Quotation of Geotechnical Investigation for Proposed Wareghouse
Located at Brgy Camanggaan, Laoag, Ilocos Norte
Sir:
In Response to your request, we are pleased to submit our proposal to undertake Sub-surface
Soil Investigation for the above-mentioned project as follows:
I. GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION SCOPE OF WORK
1. (2) Two Bore Holes shall be conducted with a depth
of 20m each bore hole.
2. (2) Two Field Logs shall be prepared.
3. Water Level on each bore hole shall be observed and recorded in the field
Immediately.
4. Laboratory Test on extracted samples shall be performed based on
ASTM procedures. The Test shall include the following:
a. Grain Size Analysis,
b. Soil Classification based on Unified Soil Classification System (USCS)
c. Atterberg limits
d. Natural moisture contents on Disturbed and undisturbed samples.
e. Rock Samples for Unconfined compression test if any
5. Field and Laboratory Test data shall be prepared as required by the client
necessary in the preparation of the profile of subsurface conditions and in the
preparation of the findings and interpretation of results.
6. Two (2) sets of the Final Geotechnical Report, which
embodies the summary of the fields and laboratory test results, conducted on
all soil samples including photograph records during the site investigation

phase of the project and the foundation recommendation including the
allowable soil bearing pressure per site.
II. WORK DURATION
1. Mobilization/Demobilization - Two (2) days
2. Bore Hole Drilling - Six (6) days
3. Laboratory Works - Ten (10) days
4. Evaluation/Analysis - Seven (7) days upon completion of laboratory data
III. PRICE Based on the above scope of works; our proposed quote are as follows:

IV. TERMS OF PAYMENT
1. Down Payment of Fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price shall be paid upon
signing of this contract, which shall also serve as our Notice to Proceed.

2. Payment of the remaining balance of the contract price shall be paid upon submission of the
Final Geotechnical Report.
V. OTHER CONDITIONS
1. The client shall provide the following:
1. Accommodation for drillers and engineers
2. Water Supply needed for the drilling
3. Power Supply
2. The client will assure that the site subject for boring test is free of any obstruction i.e.
grass, garbage or any debris or materials that will make it difficult for the boring
machine and truck to enter the site. In this regard, the client is requested to provide
photos of the actual site showing clearly passage for the transportation, these photos may
be sent to our email (asgeotech@yahoo.com) for evaluation.
2. Additional payment of 1,500 pesos per meter in excess of 20m shall be added to cost for
10m depth borehole.
3. When excavation for proposed hole cannot be undertaken due to the presence of
obstructions the hole shall be relocated as near as possible to the required point.
4. In the event that we encounter hard rock during drilling client will pay additional with the
following options:
a. Php15,000 for core bit if after used of bit will be returned to A’s Geotechnical Inc.
b. Php 23,000 if client choose to keep the bit after use.
5. Soil samples shall be restored in our office for only one (1) month after we received it from
the field. Beyond the said period such samples shall be disposed.
6. Delays caused by adverse weather conditions such as typhoons, heavy rains, and other
unforeseen events shall not be applied to our stipulated performance period.
7. The price and terms are good for sixty (60) days from the date of this offer. After this date,
all prices and terms shall be subject to our confirmation. Should you agree with the above
terms and conditions, kindly signify by signing on the space provided below and return to us
as a signed copy. This will serve as our Working Agreement.
