Calculation of materials :
1 Vitrified tiles required for = 100 sq.mt
Add wastage to tiles = 5 %
5/100 x 100 = 5 Sq.mt
Total vitrified tiles required for 100 sq.mt = 5+100 = 105 sqmt
Consider rate for vitrified tiles = Rs.60/sq.ft 1 sqft = 10.76sq.mt
60 x 10.76 =645.6 Sq.mt
Rs.646 sq.mt
For 105 sqmt = 105x646 =Rs. 67830
2 Cost of white cement = Rs.50/sq.mt
Therefore for 105 sqmt area = 50x105 = Rs.5250
3 Volume of mortar for 100 sqmt cement mortar - 1:4
0.04 x 100 = 4cum cement = 1
Add 40% for wet volume = (40/100x 4 ) + 4 = sand = 4
(.4 x4) +4 = 5.6cum summation =1+4=5
cement = 5.6/5 x1 =1.12 cum
( Volume of 1 bag cement= .0347)
No.of cement bags = 1.12 /0.0347 = 32 bags
sand = 5.6/ 5 x 4 =4.48 cum
labour rate for vitrified tile flooring is Rs.20/sqft
20x10.76 = Rs.215/sq.mt
