Unit 5: 2 - Accepting and Confirming

This document discusses bargaining and making concessions in negotiations. It provides examples of concessions that could be made on both sides of a negotiation to reach an agreement. Specifically, it gives practice prompts to come up with concessions where one party offers something in exchange for something from the other party, such as [1] offering a better warranty in exchange for quicker payment terms or [2] a 5% discount if payment is made on delivery. The key principle discussed is that negotiations require both sides to give up something and get something in return.
