CREATIVE NONFICTION
WEEK 6
CLARITY OF IDEAS
Main idea is somewhat clear but there is a need for more supporting
information. Writer uses words that communicates clearly but the writing lacks
variety, punch or flair. Some sentences lack transitions and were not
organized in order. There was an attempt to pen down her ideas in her own
native language which is Filipino.
APPROPRIATENESS OF LITERARY ELEMENTS
The story is fairly well organized. One idea or scene may seem out of place.
Clear transitions are used but not often enough. However, the opening
sentence is structured and somewhat interesting. Many vivid descriptive
words are used to tell when and where the story takes place.
EFFECTIVENESS OF THE COMBINATION OF IDEAS
AND ELEMENTS
Combination of ideas and elements is effective which make the readers
understand what the author is trying to convey. The author combines
elements of narrative fiction and nonfiction by describing real-life stories and
events using techniques such as plot, pacing, characterization and point of
view.
