Kerri Walsh Jennings

Of course, one cannot mention Misty May without giving equal respect to her teammate and partner,
Kerri Walsh-Jennings, both of whom make up the greatest beach volleyball tandem of all time. Earning
the nickname “Six-Feet of Sunshine”, this former middle-blocker and opposite hitter has collected
multiple awards during her fruitful beach volleyball career.

Her partnership with May has consistently gained them the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP)
Team of the Year from 2003 to 2008, and again, when they resumed their partnership in 2014. In 2016,
she managed to obtain the same award with another outstanding player by her side, April Ross. She had
also consistently earned FIVB’s Best Blocker award from 2005 to 2008 and managed to nab the same
award in the years 2011, 2012, and 2014.
Alyssa Caymo Valdez (born June 29, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for
the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball
team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as
an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the
university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Her global recognition paved the way
for her to play in other countries like Thailand for 3BB Nakornnont and Taiwan for Attack Line Volleyball
Club.

ALYSSA VALDEZ

Alyssa Caymo Valdez is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for Creamline Cool Smashers. She
was a member of the collegiate varsity volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor
and beach volleyball. She is a current member of Philippines national team.

The 6-foot-9 Phil Dalhausser has been an imposing player on the AVB tour for years, and his partnership
with Todd Rogers resulted in great success both domestically and internationally.

He and Rogers took home the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, defeating Brazil 2-1. With Misty
May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh winning gold on the women’s side, the United States became the first
nation to win gold in both events at the same Olympics.

Laura Ludwig and her partner Kira Walkenhorst broke Brazilian hearts in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

First, they beat the favored, No.1-seeded Brazilian team of Larissa França and Talita Antunes in the
semifinals, and then they defeated the other Brazilian duo of Agatha Bednarczuk and Barbara Seixas in
the gold medal game.

Ludwig has had a long and successful career in beach volleyball, winning numerous titles in Europe and
taking home the world championship in 2017. 
DENNISE MICHELLE LAZARO

Dennise Michelle “Denden” Garcia Lazaro (born 21 January 1992) is a Filipina volleyball player. Lazaro is
a member of Philippines national team.She was born on 21 January 1992 in Metro Manila  and she is a
high school graduate of Colegio San Agustin – Makatiand belongs to the Ateneo de Manila University
class 2015 after finishing a BS Biology course. After graduation, Lazaro entered medical school at
the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.However, by the end of 2016, it was reported that
Lazaro filed a leave of absence from her schooling to focus on her volleyball career.

Dennise Michelle "Denden" Garcia Lazaro-Revilla (born January 21, 1992) is a Filipina professional
volleyball player. Lazaro is a member of the Philippine Women's National Volleyball Team. She is known
as the libero and Ateneo Lady Eagles' Iron Eagle.
