About Us
The Company was started by Mr. Kaushik S Chaturvedi, a Pharmacy graduate as a micro
organization Incorporated in the year 1984 which has grown into one of the leading
pharmaceutical products manufacturer in India. His business intelligence, experience and vision
has allowed Halewood to grow and look at the market with one objective “MANUFACTURING OF
QUALITY PRODUCTS”. Halewood is having association with leading pharmaceutical companies in
different segments globally. A wide range of Pharmaceutical dosage form is manufactured under
different therapeutic segments viz Anti-Tuberculosis, Anti-Malarial, Anti-Biotic, Cardiovascular,
Anti-Diabetic and general molecules.
Halewood is specialized in manufacturing ORS (oral rehydration Salts), Electrolyte powder /
drinks from past 23 years and has the privilege of being one of the biggest manufacturer in the
World, with manufacturing capacity of 2 million sachets in a day. 40% of market share is
occupied by ORS manufactured by Halewood in India. The quality of Halewood product has been
trusted by companies like Abbott Healthcare, Merck, Cipla, Sun pharma, Lupin etc.
Halewood has an excellent R & D division which help them to innovate ORS ready to drink &
Electrolyte drinks in 2008 which turned out to be the one of the biggest & most valuable
innovation in the field of Electrolytes & rehydration therapy. Halewood being innovator for ORS
ready to drink hold a average of 62% of the market share in countries like India, Afghanistan,
Myanmar, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Yemen, Mauritius, Sudan and more.

Our Manufacturing facilities are available in different parts of the world-

The infrastructure consists of separate manufacturing facilities for Tablets , Capsules & ORS
Powder (Oral Rehydration Salts) and Energy powders enriched with vitamins and
minerals and made provisions in the facilities for suitable environment with controlled
temperature and humidity conditions. Along with latest machinery for production and packaging
of products, separate setups for storage of raw materials and ingredients with facilities for
required storage environment are also a part of the overall infrastructure.
Our production capacities are as follows:

Capsules - 0.2 million per day
ORS / other oral powder Sachets - 0.6 million per day
Dry Granules powder: 15000 Kg per day
