This concept map represents how Home Economics as a discipline which is
mainly the based-learning of understanding the importance of home economic
factors. These factors are Family planning that tackles about services allows
individuals to achieve desired birth spacing and family size, and contributes to
improved health outcomes for infants, children, women, and families; Nutrition that
tackles about study of nutrients in food, how the body uses them, and the
relationship between diet, health, and disease; Budgeting that tackles about process
of creating a plan to spend your money; Physical health that tackles about Physical
well-being involves pursuing a healthful lifestyle to decrease the risk of disease and
resource management that tackles about planning so that the right resources are
assigned to the right tasks and manage it effectively. This is basically the overview of
the purpose of home economics in line with Environment and Home management.
