OSYRIS Y 1000 is a corrosion preventive oil developed for short-term metal protection during indoor storage.  OSYRIS Y 1000 complies with Standard ISO 6743/8 (1987) : RC category.

processing industry.
 OSYRIS Y 1000 coats the metal surface with a thin, oily and non drying protective
film.
 OSYRIS Y 1000 provides protection for FEW MONTHS during indoor storage.
 OSYRIS Y 1000 is formulated from hydrocracked base stock which allows to
have:
• very little odour due to its low aromatic compound content.
• improvement to operators health due to almost no carcinogenic
compounds as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons present in the oil.
 OSYRIS Y 1000 can be easily applied:
• with a brush
• by spraying
• by immersion
 OSYRIS Y 1000 can be easily removed with:
• diluted alkaline detergents
• solvents (liquid or vapour phase)
• mechanical treatments.
