Part 1 Catalogue

Security notice during operation


This chapter describes the safety, correct operation of our basic blow molding
machine. Please read carefully the basis for the correct operation. Each type of
peculiar circumstance immediately, please refer to mechanical specification,
machinery installation and appendix.
Warning
Please arrange all departments to have only qualified technician. Regarding the
operating machinery, please read carefully the instructions. If not in accordance with the

requirements of this instruction manual operation, may cause casualty accidents, such as

mechanical damage. Forgive my company on the economic loss caused by irresponsible. If there

is any unknown place, please contact with me.

1. Security system

1.1 Alarm (buzzer)

In the following circumstances will alarm sounds: automatic operation began,


Reply to start point operation, When the alarm. Buzz around the host for the operation of a
potential danger. Please host near staff understand this function.

1.2 Security gate

All mechanical moving parts (bottle preform GongGeiBu move send out of
position of molding, etc.), cover and security protection device such protection device. Open
any security limit switches will be cut off after all mechanical operation will stop immediately.

And if all the security shutoff no word, also cannot start the machine operation. Operating

machinery, must confirm that all the security of the limit switch is correct. And if the security has

been taken down or invalid, absolutely cannot run machinery. As for the maintenance and

operation to enter exit to prevent accidents, please switch off the main machine.

1.3 Air

Our machine needs two kinds of compressed air.


-Low pressure air (operation air) for machine start
-High pressure air (bottle-blowing air) for blowing bottles
Confirm the connector of the machine nameplate; connection work must be done
by the professional operator, who gets the special technology qualification. Please
note in high pressure air circuit, fix the high pressure pipe parts, air valve, and air
tank, connect pipe and so on. In blowing air circuit, fix high pressure air tank and fix
safety valve separately.

1.4 Emergency stop

It consists of three stop switches. Press any of these three emergency stop buttons,
machine will stop immediately. And machine will not restart unless not relieve the emergency

stop. Relieving emergency stop, please turn right the button head. Before machine start, please

check the emergency stop buttons and make sure it can work well.

1.5 Electric switch

In the circumstance wire short cuts or abnormal current runs, switch QF starts and cut off all

the electric circuit and the switches of the machine.

1.6 Earth wire

The host computer is installed with earth wire, which should be strand wire and stronger than

the provision thickness. Please comply with the company’s regulation, because different areas

different regulations.

2 .Caution board

2.1 Dangerous standard

Caution boards, reading dangerous in big letters of high colors, are stick on all
parts of the main machine, including dangerous, caution and attention.
Dangerous
Pay attention to the caution board, to avoid worker injury such dangerous
accidents.
Warning
Regardless of caution board will cause injury and death. So danger and caution
predict not only product damage, but also death and injury.

Please read carefully and obey the content on the caution board, any questions please contact

3 Operation notice

Notice is obeyed by all the operators

3.1 Don’t climb onto the running machine, which will cause injury. And

touching moveable parts of the machine will result in malfunction and accident.

3.2. Cut off electricity and stop machine before working on the machine.

During operation of moveable parts, in order to avoid falling down, on the


lifting position please fix the location rack or wood chip in the moveable parts.
Attention

Cut off the air supply before operation; confirm the manometer of
reducing valve is on the 0 place. Pay attention that after cutting off air supply,
air moveable parts acting up and down will stop immediately.

3.3. Prepare safety helmet and gloves. Wear skid proof shoes to protect feet.

Tie your long hairs in your helmet, do not wear loose clothes to avoid injury your
body.

3.4. Prepare the ladder and then climb on the machine correctly.

3.5. Repair or maintenance work must be done by the qualitificatory workers

or professors. All the used parts like screws are metric screw. Pipes of chiller water
and air are imperial screw parts. Please note such difference.

3.6. Machinery is not allowed to runner when there is worker checking for

maintenance, mechanical cleaning etc

3.7. Operators are not allowed into machine or security gate when machine is running.

4. Attention by machine operators

Regardless of the following notice, will cause human injury and machine
damage.

4.1. Any parts of the human body can not touch any moveable parts of the

machine when machine is running.

4.2. Operators are not allowed into security gate, even not allowed hands into

machine through protection plate when machine is running.

4.3. Don’t put any tools on the machine, otherwise, will cause human

skidding. Meanwhile, if the robot clips foreign matter, it will cause bad injection.

4.4. Please don’t make the limit switch of the security gate come to short circuit.

5. Attention by examiner

The followings should be paid attention by the examiner.


Warning:
Regardless of the following notice, will cause human injury, machine
damage or other breakage to surroundings.

5.1. Cut off all the electric switches before starting, and put on the board of

“prohibit electricity”.

5.2. Fix protective plate and security gate around the machine for protecting

workers. There is limit switch on the security gate and power box gate, if without
closing gate correctly, the machine can not start, even so when the switches are left
down and short circuit.

5.3. Before machine is finished, air loop is set. During adjustment, pressure

shouldn’t be over prescriptive range; otherwise, machine will be damaged.

5.4. Our blow molding machine use compressed air. When changing air valve,

cylinder, safety valve, connector pipe such spare parts, please open the circuit
completely, and confirm the rest of air pressure is in 0 position. During operation of
moveable parts, in order to avoid falling down, on the lifting position please fix the
location rack or wood chip in the moveable parts. After working, smear suds on the
connection part to check if it leaks. During next maintenance please do so.

5.5. Because using chilled water, so regularly check the pipes to avoid leaking.

Meeting of water and transducer will cause accident.

5.6. Please use the water pipes and air pipes complying with the pressure

demand of our blow molding machine.

5.7. Please use normal tools including suitable torque of screws and nuts

during maintenance.

5.8. Stop the machine before smearing lubricating grease.

5.9. Check regularly main machine, spare parts, wearing parts, metal rings and

lubricating oil, please read the chapter VII.

5.10. After cutting of the main electric power and switches of other

equipment, do the maintenance of electricity circuit.

5.11. Don’t touch electric equipment by wet hand.

5.12. Generally does the electric maintenance in the circumstances of

connecting power, so please use insulating tools, and don’t wear jewelry or other
metals. If two workers are working, please both go to confirm the circumstance is
suitable for working.

5.13. Electric equipment and pipes are confirming with the followings:

5.13.1. Please fix the leakage protector in equipment power and the ventro-
machine.
5.13.2. Fix the earth wire and ground terminal in the proper position near to the
machine. However, after long time, because of insulation deterioration, electricity
supply can not run normally, so please note it.
5.13.3. Use regular fuse or switch without fuse.
5.13.4. Use insulated cable with sufficient electrical volume in electricity wire.
Connect the cable with the switch without fuse in the electrical controller.

5.14 After repairing machine, before connecting power, please make sure no accident
will happen, and no tools have been left.

6. Attention to compressed air circuit

Attention to the compressed air circuit, because it maybe cause explosion and
injury workers.
6.1. Set of pressure reducing valve can not be beyond of company pointed range.
It will not attack the air box.
6.2. When reduce pressure of compressed air circuit, stop the machine, stop
supplying air, at the same time open filter open, it is safety way.
6.3. For the machine using filter, after stopping machine and then stop supplying
air to machine, open the air exhaust gate under the air tank, and relieve pressure of air
box and circuit.
6.4. Completely stop supplying compressed air to machine, and make sure all
pressure in circuit is relieved, and then decompose circuit and take out components.
6.5. Do the following job in the place machine stops long time
Relieve air pressure, make sure the pressure is relieved completely, and then do
rust-proof and corrosion prevention job in inner side.
Set up air circuit at second time, please do as followings:
Set lower position to the pressure of reducing valve and start to supply air. Check
all the components under situation of low pressure. Set the highest pressure of

operation (0.69MPa), and check machine running.
6.7. Regular examination
Do exact examination according to chapter VII.

7. Rule of operation

When using machine, run it according to the rule of operation related with the machine.

8. Operator, manager and supervisor

8.1. All the operators must operate according to the rules of the machine
introduction
8.2. In order to be safe, please arrange two or more workers to operate and do
maintenance.
8.3. For maintenance, please arrange qualitificatory workers or professors to do
it.
8.4. In order to keep machine in sufficient production, please do maintenance
regularly, examine and repair machine.
8.5. Attention, without the manufacturer’s agreement, the user mustn’t remake or change the

machine; otherwise, we are not responsible for any results caused from your change in the

circumstance that the manufacturer does not agree to it.

9. Notice to fume and miasma

Through heating, mixture of resin and additive will relieve fume and miasma. Any unclear to

it, please require to resin supplier. Please fix air-change equipment in order to have a comfortable

environment.

10. notice to fire

Because there is a heater, in order to avoid fire, please note: do not put any
flammable articles near or in the machine; when plate is covering over the machine,
do not start it. Keep machine surrounding clean.
As to lubrication oil: smear it after stopping machine. There is nothing that is easy to make

fire around the machine; deal with oil cloth correctly to avoid fire. Clear oil stain ing around the

machine.

11. fire-exhausting appliance

Keep fire-exhausting appliance surround or in plant, and teach workers how to


keep it and how to use it. Check regularly the fire-exhausting appliance. In some
places should prepare respiratory protection device.

2 Working principle and main structure

DMK-L8 automatic blow molding machines are available for kinds of stretching
plastic bottles. Through infrared lamps heating, and servo motor driving performs
heated in heater, and then come into blowing mold under high pressure air, performs
are blown into bottles.
Keep machine and spare parts running in stable, harmonized situation; correct
mold closing; sensitive reaction of controlling system and correct direction. It can
produce good products matching with the mold. Touchable screen operation makes
machine running clear for workers. Main electrical components (touchable screen)
adopt international brand, cylinder of action part is FESTO, SMC with high quality
and high guarantee.

Blow molding machine is made up of following parts: perform feeding part,
bottle-out part, heating part, stretching mold closing part, chain driving part, electric
control system, air circuit, machine base, and air window and so on.

2.1 Perform feeding structure

(图 2)
As the installation illustration-preform feeding, it is the turning perform-feeding
structure. Through lifter and unscrambler, performs are coming into the chain by the
turnover cylinder. Short stroke cylinder on the left controls the opening and closing of
the neck clip block. The turnover cylinder on the right controls the clip block turnover
action. In every setting parts drill many holes to adjust easily.
The following is location part, before performs, the part will stop bottle
supporter, so that the preforms can be put on the bottle supporter easily.

2.2 turnover bottle-out structure

Referring installation drawing, it is similar with the turnover perform feeding


structure. Fixing 3 sets of MC nylon clamp fastener, the same number as that of
blowing molds. The same center distance, if necessary, it can be adjusted.
There is conveyer, please adjust the conveyer according to different shapes of
bottles.

Two lines of chains will be driven by two individual motors, one servo motor
drives big chain which forces blowing base revolution through perform feeding part,
heating part, mold-closing stretch part and bottle-out part. Smaller chain drives
blowing base rotation and make perform heated in balanced.
2.3.1 Blowing base
There are 156 blowing base on the blowing conveyer line. If the inner diameter
and the neck are the same with the last mold, there is no need to change the blowing
base. Otherwise, in order to be suitable for new molds, it is necessary to change the
blowing base. It will be fastened by the o-ring. Take o-ring off by cathode
screwdriver, and then take out the blowing base. Change for new blowing base and fix
o-ring into slot. Make sure there is enough room in heating channel and turn the
conveyer. Otherwise, the lamps and heater will be damaged easily.
2.3.2. Hand regulation conveyer

Connect the hand on the motor out shaft and then turn by hand, in the
circumstance that no electricity in servo motor. Generally security gate opens the
power will be cut off. But in order to be safe, please confirm it again.
2.4. Heating appliance
With installation illustration: infrared lamps heat. In order to heat performs
properly, it is necessary to adjust heating appliance height, and distance between
heating appliance and conveyer. Stop machine, put some performs into blowing base.
Move conveyer orbit by hand and heat the inner side of the heating appliance. Adjust
heaters in order according to perform size and shape.
Caution

Touch it by hand, the life of the infrared lamps will be short. Please keep
infrared lamps clean far from oil or other dirties. In operation, please note that
in order that lamps are not touched by performs, please adjust lamps backmost.

2.4.1 Adjustment order

2.4.2 Adjustment of heating appliance and converyer
Adjust distance front and back between heating appliance and performs through
unfastening that four screws,. After adjustment, please fasten the location screws.
2.4.3 Height adjustment of heating appliance

Put performs into the blowing base in front of heating appliance, with standard of
the lamp downmost.
Unfasten two screws of the heating appliance, turn four screws for height
adjustment.
Keep heating appliance with performs in parallel. At the same time, turn the
conveyer by hand. Make sure in conveying, performs will not touch heating
appliance. After adjustment, please fasten the location screws.
2.5 Structure of stretching mold- closing
As the illustration, this part is important in blow molding machine. When heated
performs are coming, the mold will close under action of three cylinder. Through high
pressure air, performs become into bottles. Please read the chapter III carefully.

3 Subordinate machines

Two sets of high pressure air compressor; one set of high pressure air tank; one
set of low pressure air tank; one set of chiller and two sets of oil-water separator. All
of these assistant machines are chosen specially and high efficiency.
As the illustration of lifter and performs separator: lift performs from the hopper
and convey into performs separator, which will separate bad performs out of the
machine.

4 Machine installations

4.1 machine confirmation


Please check the machine well before unloading machine. If there is damage on
the way, please contact our company.
Caution
When lifting machine, please use the four lifting appliance ( advise to use
forklift to move machine)

4.2 Installation position (underlay)
Load of installation position is related with the machine horizontal plane. So
please keep machine installed horizontally. Meanwhile, before adjusting running
speed properly, it will increase machine load.

5. Electric

5.1 Power and breaker of electric leakage


Please fix the breaker of electric leakage in the electric supply.
5.2 Earth resistance
Only when electric leakage happens, will the breaker run. Although fixing the
breaker in the electricity supply, because of long use, insulation is aging and cause
electrification.
Caution

In machine operation, please comply with the local low, we suggest below
10Ω
5.3. Voltage
Supply machine with stable voltage. The suggestive range is < ±5%. The
allowed range is Max. < ±10%. If your power change is beyond the above range,
please fix voltage stabilizer.
5.4. Wire connection
Wire
Please connect the three-phase L1, L2, L3 with machine maingate QF1.Connect
neutral line (N bright blue wire) with N terminal or other N terminal of maingate QF1.
connect guide wire (PE, yellow and green streak line) with PE terminator.
Caution

Point the qualificatory operator who occupies certificate in local area.

6. Operation air and blow air

Two kinds of individual compressed air are in need in machine running and
blowing. Please comply with the machine installation, air circuit drawing and pressure
specification.
6.1. Operation air
Make sure air driving system and cooling system run under being supplied low
pressure air. Operation pressure: the Max. supply pressure: 0.97MPa. Pressure of air
reducing valve: 0.69MPa. Please refer to operate air circuit diagram. The actual value
depends on the cycle time.
6.2. Blowing air
Blow performs in blowing position according to the supplied high pressure air.
The maximum pressure of supplying machinery: 3.43 MPa. Please refer to air circuit
diagram. The practical needed pressure and quantity is determined by the finished
shape.
6.2.1. The first air-blowing and the second air-blowing [and the third air
blowing (hot filling)]
In order to make performs into bottles, it needs two kinds of pressure air: the first
air-blowing and the second air-blowing [and the third air blowing (hot filling)]. The
air pressure in blowing system is supplied according to the second air-blowing. The
first pressure is from the second air-blowing after pressure reducing in reducing valve.
[The third pressure is similar to the second air-blowing pressure (hot filling).]
6.3. Air reducing valve
The first air blowing and reducing valve: since the second air-blowing (air tank),
reduce pressure through adjusting screws. The first blowing pressure which should be
within the allowed range depends on the mold set.
Alarm

If improper pressure is supplied, human injury or machine damage will be caused.


Please set pressure to air pressure reducing valve within the allowed range
Caution

All the equipments in the buyer’s must be washed and clean, and then can
be connect with the machine. Otherwise, it will damage the air valve.
Forbidding using pipes with rust in inner side. In frond of supplying valve,
please fix exhausting valve.

6.4 washing order


Close supplying valve, open air supply of compressor. Open slowly air
exhausting valve, and discharge air and waste through exhausting valve.
Alarm

In order to avoid to be injured by the discharged waste or air, please protect


worker’s ears and eyes.
6.5 connections with machine
As to the connection of exhausting valve and machine gate, please adopt way
never waste yields in pipes (e.g, forbidding using heat sealing)

7. Chilled water

7.1 heat insulation of pipes


To avoid that cooling efficiency decreases, or dewing appears on pipes, please
adopt heat insulation.
Caution
Because of bad water quality, there will be water mark and corrosion in inner side of
pipes, and will cause other problems.
Please use chilled water after being sterilized, softened and corrosion-resistance .
in order to avoid corrosion and watermark, please pay attention water quality. As to
the assistant machines, please confirm the water treatment according to the
introduction and supplier’s request.
7.2 Unclogged pipes (control flow at least)
To make machine cool enough, please supply sufficient water flow, so please set
proper water supply system. Advise to use larger diameter pipes, because wind and
smaller pipe can cause lower flow. Generally speaking, the chiller, cooling tower,
pipes and other related same size pipes are used as the main pipes.

Caution
Please arrange qualifictory operator who is specialized in pipe project
connect pipes. Otherwise, it will affect machine feature.
7.3 wash new installed water supply system
Wash order
Cut off machine supply and back to circuit near to the connector, and connect
with the temporary pipe. Run the water supply line. Wash water and waste through the
temporary pipe.
Caution
All the pipes should be washed first and then connect with the machine.
Forbid use pipes with rust in inner side.
7.4 Connection with machine
Temporary pipes and machine supply is going to be connected with pipes which
will not be rust (e.g., forbidding using heat sealing)
7.5 Water discharging connection
Discharge all water before starting machine, e.g., during parts and molds

Discharge way: firstly, close the stop valve of the water supply, and close stop
valve of the water-return. Open low pressure air valve and pourer water into other
container.
Caution
If there is no water flow in machine supply system and return gate, it will
damage machine and mold.
8 Examination of lubrication and screws
Please do the followings before machine starts automatically: remove antirust on
the machine and mold parts, clean, put lubrication and examine screws.
8.1 Lubrication
Remove antirust on the machine and mold parts, clean, and put lubrication,
please refer to the content: maintenance examination, lubrication, recommend oil. The
parts unload from the machine must be lubricate before installation.
8.1.1 Lubrication before starting machine

Some of the parts before starting need operating by hand. So after preparing,
please lubricate machine. When starting, all parts must be installed and operate
correctly.
Caution
Running automatically means start after lubrication.
8.2 Screw examination
Please check if all parts are installed correctly. Check the machine power supply
system. It is better to check more than two times to avoid missing.

ChapterIII Mould Installation and Adjustment


1.necessary installation tools
Please prepare the following tools: standard tools, special tools,
fixtures, chain pulley for hoisting, ring bolts, hook, cord, rope, FDA or
the similar products for food machine, lubrication oil, antirust oil, tissues
for cleaning, and antiburn.
2. Attentions during mould installation
Before installation, please pay attention to each place when the
interface and the gap in the mold and make sure there isn’t broken and
waste things. If any fash or mark founded, firstly clean it with fine-
grained whetstone and thin machine oil, then scrub with an unoil-agent
cloth, finally apply all contact surfaces thinly with lubrication cream for
food machine. Manufacturing number on mold is suggested to toward
outboard of machine.
2.1 When changing mold, safety door sometimes need to open. In order
to close safety door, relive abnormal pause button after work, and operate
the machine after power supply, start safety relay resetting system
2.2 Assure that:
Main source is turned on
All abnormal pause buttons are resetting (before push down)
All safety doors are correctly closed

All cylinders are backward to initial state (prevent sudden operation
during air supply)
2.3. Press safety relay resetting system button. Supply power to working

air depressure valve (AV90), and supply air to air cylinder.

2.4. Machine starts


3. Mould installation
The blowing process is done in [mouth downward] state. Three parts on
blowing mould, including two half-mould and a bottom mould are
installed individually. The order is as follows: blowing unit, bottom
mould, stretching adjustment, and pipes for cooling water.
3.1 installation of blowing mould
A blowing mould has two parts—left part and right part
3.1.1 Assure the blowing mould plate totally open
3.1.2 Using crane to put one part above the limit plate of mould
3.1.3. Slowly down the part to limit plate
3.1.4. Fix it with screw (4 in each side), adjust the height according to
perform.
3.1.5. Install another part with the same way.
3.2 installation of bottom mold
3.2.1. Preparation
Before installation, open one half-mould, and elevate bottom mould
3.2.2. Installation
Using crane to put bottom mould above half-moulds, then press the
device with force to its position, finally fix it with 8 screws (located by
bolt, no need to adjust)
3.2.3. Height adjustment
Adjust in accordance with half-moulds. Improper height may lead to
mould breakage.
3.3. Height adjustment of stretching

To used mould, install stretching and arrester as recorded data. For
the fist installation, please do in this order: do it under the most frequent
used working air pressure, confirm whether blowing mould is totally
opened, and whether handling is on initial position. Press hand-operated
valve AV2-3 to elevate stretching.
3.3.1 Confirm space between near bottom end of stretching and bottom
mould, usually 1-2mm.
3.3.2. If slight adjustment is necessary, unscrew stretching on fixing
board, and then adjust.
3.3.3. Adjustment by a big margin, please use stretching arrester.
3.3.4. When stretching backward, fix nuts.

3.4 plumbing for cooling water


Plumb cooling water circuit on all parts of blowing mould. Entrance
is under return mouth in connection. After this, confirm no water leaking.
4. mould removing order
4.1 bottom mould removing order
4.1.1. Open one half-mould, put down bottom mould.
4.1.2. Assemble ring screw in install hole (arrow); remove 8 screws from
bottom mould.
4.1.3. Remove bottom mould out of machine by crane.
4.2 blowing mould removing order
4.2.1. Elevate bottom mould device.
4.2.2. Assemble ring screw in install hole (arrow); remove 8 screws from

bottom mould.
4.2.3. Open another half
4.2.4. Remove another half-mould in the same way.
Caution
Operator pay attention to avoid finger pinched and avoid damage by
bottom mould falling
5. Mould maintenance and lubrication
Details about lubrication are in chapter 7. Before machine
automatically runs, lubricate all folded surfaces and contacting surfaces
on mould, which is very important to extend mould utility longevity
Two proposals for maintenance:
Stop the machine for 10 minutes every day to maintain in short term.
Observe by eye to assure no screw slacking, no wear of pipe sand metal
threads.
Do regular maintenance at least once 60 days. According to products,
if mould needs to be replaced periodically, check it whenever removing.
If not so, have a thorough check-up in a 60-day cycle.

Chapter IV machine performance

1. Preparation before start


1.1 preparations
Please prepare the followings to keep machine in good maintenance and in good

operation: lubricate, spray rust-preventive, protective spray can special for mold,
lubricating grease special for food machine with FDA certificate or lubricating can,
The agent of preventing heat burns, cotton waste, paper towel, tools, electric loop
detector and so on.

1.2. Improve efficiency

Before the operation of lubrication for molding, please visually check machinery
and die. If finding takeover damage and wire damage, or screws loop, timely
adjustment can prevent mechanical operation from the failure, and save outlay.
Machinery is composed of large installation of steel parts. Therefore, in condition of
low temperature starting machine, it usually takes long time to achieve the
temperature where the production can be put into. Therefore, a few minutes before the
re-start, please carry out air operation mode of the mechanical operation. Final
product quality has a lot to de with the perform's quality and temperature when
connected to mechanical. For producing a good bottle, trying to use the a good state
bottle is a very important premise. For stabling the preform's temperature, please set
aside the preform for some time (24 hours) before putting it into the blow molding
machine, so that it can natural cool down. When forming problem is found, please
make sure the state of your preforms you are using before contacting with us. Then
use the perform with a stable temperature and good condition for blow molding and
then observe whether there is improvement or not.
2. Examinations before connection with electricity
2.1 examinations to assistant machine
Please confirm the followings: all of the power pipes are washed, and
connection is correct; connection wire specifications are right, and make sure that the
fuse is of capacity requirement.
2.1.1 Trial running of assistant machines
Before supplying energy, please try and run assistant machines firstly. please
install and debug machine according to the machine instructions to finish. Before a
successful commissioning of machinery, please stop energy supply systems.

2.2. Examination before connection with electricity


2.2.1. Oil leakage and air leakage
Make sure no leakage, because Leakage may cause a waste of energy, and cause
problem in operating machine.
2.3. Examination before running (after connection with electricity)
2.3.1. Lubrication of molds
Before mold temperature increasing, it is better to lubricate the molds. Clean the
sliding surface and smear FDA allowed lubrication. Please pay attention to each place

when the interface and the gap in the mold and make sure there isn’t broken and waste
things. Check back chain and bottle blowing frame.

2.3.2. Lubricant
Before the refueling, clean firstly the place, remove dust and gas bodies. Please
make all lubricating face sufficient lubricant. all the oil can will be added lubricant,
but cylinder does not need to refuel.

2.3.3. Examination to heating lamps


Please check the followings regularly
2.3.3.1. Before the start, make sure lamps are good and not be burned. Please start
running under the way of empty mechanical; please refer to the main contents of
startup sequence. Choose the heater frame and turn off heaters and dial and then open
the heaters one by one, confirm all the lamps work actually. Set the output of heaters
above 40%, lamp light/out will be easily observed.

Notice
Quartz lamp has high lightness. Please look in the eye after wearing color glasses.

2.3.2. It won’t be heated fully if there is dirt on quartz heating machine. Clean
the heating lamp with clear cloth. When installing, it may cause residual substance on
the lamp. This may cause early accident. So look out when operating.

2.3.4. Eyes checking with the spare parts


Check if there is scar on the slip surface, if the screw is tight enough, if there are
spare parts which are broken. Check piping and wiring, to see if it will appear broken,
leaking and inner core going out etc.

2.3.5. Eyes checking with machine’s running


Run the machine in empty running, to check if all runs correctly and if slowdown
is suitable. If machine runs long time correctly, it may damage seriously.

2.3.6. Installing of safety device

Check if all the safety devices have been installed correctly, if the safety gate
been open or shut correctly (machine will stop running when safety gate is open).

3. Factors of machine running


This section instructs the basic factors of running machine contains power.
Before start running the machine, it’s better to go with each tache.

3.1. Supplying for work air


Check if the air is suitable before starting the machine.
3.1.1. Start the compressor (refer to the reference).
3.1.2. It costs 15-20 minutes to let the air pressure stable.
3.1.3. Check if the following pressure is up to the main motor specification: the
setting pressure the factory supply with; setting pressure of the valve of collecting
place.
3.1.4. Check the compressor if cannot get suitable air pressure.
3.1.5. Before running, open drain valve behind the filter in short time, get rid of
remaining wet air and pollutant. This can be get rid of through working air pressure.
3.1.6. Even working air supplied to supplying place of the machine, before safety
relay reset to run, the air cannot reach to each valve of the machine.
3.1.7. When stop the machine, for the sake of operation person, please shut the
supplying
air.
3.1.8. After pushing emergency button, the safety gate open, air inside the air
release valve get out fully. According to the valve’s place, there is also some
remaining air in some cylinders and pipings.

3.2. Supplement of blow air

Second Blow air pressure gauge


Blow the air exhaust valve and pressure gauge of blowing mold
3.2.1. Check whether the air release valve behind air tank is shut or not.
3.2.2. If the machine is not running, please start compressor first.
3.2.3. It needs 15-20 minutes to let the air pressure get stable.
3.2.4. Open supplying valve.
3.2.5. Check if blowing air pressure reach to the suitable numerical value of
shaping container. If not, please check the compressor.
3.2.6. In order to discharge remaining wet air, open air release valve of air tank
in short time, then shut it off.
Warning
The air inside air tank is in Extreme Pressure. Avoid accident and hearing
barrier, take protection measures when open air release valve ( don’t open to the
extreme)
3.2.7. Considering the safety for operators when stop, please shut the air
supplying for the machine, and then open air release valve to release air in air tank
slowly.
3.3. Supplying for cooling water
Cooling water is in need when shaping. Shut cooling water device 15 minutes
before shaping.
Notice
In order to avoid corrosion of the moulds, please obey the following points: stop
supplying water to mould after stop machine; 1-2 hours after stop running, spray anti-rust paint
to the whole mould.
3.3.1. After totally stopping of cooling water supplying, check if the air release
valve is shut off.

3.3.2. Refer to the reference of cooling machine, start cooling device, then
cooling the compressor.
3.3.3. Before open the loop of cooling water, please open the backup valve of the
machine(out side of the machine) , then open supplying use valve( in side of the
machine).
3.3.4. Stop the machine when shaping, with the same time, the last circulation of
the machine, stop cooling water supplying immediately.
3.3.5. For stop supplying cooling machine, first shut supplying valve, then
backup valve.
3.3.6. The blowing machine need t stop more than 30 minutes, then stop cooling
machine running, this will save energy.

3.4. Main power on main gate


Before push ON button of main power, check the following: no people in the
area of machine running; devices of the machine are correctly installed (no lax wires
etc).
3.4.1. Push ON button of the main power of factory devices
3.4.2. Push “ON” button of the main machine.
3.4.3. If you need to stop the machine for hours, it’s better shut the main power
of the main machine, and shut elec. supplying system of machine.
3.5. Open and shut of the safety gate/reset of safety relay
In continuous running, in order to check working or shaping condition,
sometimes we must open safety gate. This time, operate according to the following
order.
3.5.1. After pushing AUTO RUNNING button on control panel, machine will
stop running when cycling finished.
3.5.2. Open safety gate, do some necessary work.
3.5.3. Then shut safety gate.
After shutting safety gate, for start again, it is necessary reset emergency button,
or push ON button of main power or start reset system of safety relay.

3.5.4. Check the following points:
 If main power is on.
 If all emergency buttons have been reset (in condition of not being
pushed)
 If all safety gates are shut correctly.
 If all cylinders in origin place (in order to avoid running violently when
recovering of working air).
3.5.5. Push RESET button of safety relay. Start air release valve, supply air to
each cylinder.

4. The order of starting main machine


4.1. Empty running

4.2. Start controlling heating machine

4.3. Beginning supplying performs
Refer to reference book
4.4. Blowing container
It cannot blowing if the perform not reach to the suitable temp. Take two
preforms, if they connect with each other, the temp of the perform will be right. But
this simple way cannot assure blowing bottles correctly. Take care when operating.
Notice
If blow the perform which is not heat fully, it may cause PET chips fly off
in blowing cavity, such accidents. These chips get into blowing moulds, may
damage aluminum alloy material. The situations of performs fracture during
blowing: check the blowing mould when main machine stops running, if there are
PET chips, remove them immediately; check blowing air pressure, if necessary,
adjust it; check initialization of the heating machine, and adjust it; check time
machine of First blowing and Second blowing, adjust it.
4.4.1. Check again if blowing air supplied to main machine.
4.4.2. Check again if First and Second Pressure set to the right one.

4.4.3. Push Blowing Ways button, start blowing.
4.4.4. Blowing work is going in the same time with next loading.
Note 1: the button of Blowing Ways is in use, just with the heating machine
switch on setting menu of the heating machine; if perform counter cannot assure 2
preforms, the machine cannot be started running.
5. Order of stop running
5.1. stop in short time
After stopping the main machine in short time, we can do simple repair and
adjust work. This method can stop running immediately, but performs will stay in the
machine.
5.1.1. Push the button of AUTO RUN on control panel, machine will stop
running when finish one cycling.
5.1.2. At the same time of running stop, the switch of heating machine also put to
OFF.
5.1.3. Shut supplying chilled water.

Notice
Attentions before running again
Stop running according to the method by 5.1, there still remained shaping
performs within the molding machine. Preform inside the heater will deform
because of the remaining heat. In this case, if it start running again, then bend
preform may have collision with the heater which will lead to mechanical
damages, so be sure to remove the bottle.
5.2. Restart running after stop for short time
Restart running according to the order of starting the machine. If machine stops
within 10 minutes, it may not run emptily.
5.3. Stop for long time, finish working
Stop running after all performs have been taken out of the machine.
5.3.1. Push supplying button to OFF on control panel.
5.3.2. Stop supplying performs, blowing ends.
5.3.3. After the last perform been blowed, push down AUTO RUN button. The
machine will stop after the running cycling.
5.3.4. At the same time, if we have set PLANING   NUMBER in RUNNING

CONDITION NOW on the panel, the machine will stop automatically with the
producing ends.
5.3.5. After machine stop running, switch of the Heating Machine will get to
OFF automatically.
5.3.6. Stop supplying for cooling water.
5.4. Shut the power of the machine
5.4.1. If stop for 2-3 hours, please apply rust inhibitor for all moulds spare parts.
5.4.2. The mould will shut when Mode Setting open. Don’t shut totally, just keep
backlash for 10mm. this can not only prevent dust but also keep venting.
5.4.3. Stop supplying for work air and blowing air. When maintaining and
checking the machine, please release all the pressure in the loop.
5.4.4. Shut the main gate to OFF.
5.5. stop for long time and then restart the machine
Restart running the machine according to Order of starting the machine.

 Press the emergency stop button, all the machines will stop running, if you
do not lift the emergency stop button, machine no longer starts. To unlock it
you should turn the button to the right on the head. Before mechanical
operation, be sure to confirm all emergency stop buttons’ settings and
functions are correct.
 For the security of the whole system work, please be sure to set the security
control system for the external circuit when the external power supply,
control system have abnormal failure.
 Alarm works when the machine works abnormal or pressing the emergency
stop button. Beep reminds and warn the potential danger to the operators
around the host machine. Please make all those who work near the machine
understand the function.
 The graphic instruments, may be a little different according to the
specifications of different machines.
 A bsolute prohibition of lock device safety device, resulting its failure

 Before supplying power to the equipment, check its work voltage, in order to
ensure normal working power.

 Electrical components have a certain working environment. Too high or too


low temperature will cause the device’s abnormal work, please set the device
at well ventilated place, with the environmental temperature between 0 ℃
and 55 ℃.
 Do not continue the operation of machines after removing the sensors on the
machine.
 Do not arbitrarily move the machine detection devices。
 Do not place objects near electrical equipment or control circuit that may
have strong electromagnetic, noise, or hot objects.

 Blowing machine control cabinet only can be used by blow molding
machine, it is prohibited to set external peripheral devices around the control
cabinet.
 When inspect or replace the electrical components, you must turn off the
power.

2. Circuit Installation

2.1 The leakage circuit breakers of power plant equipment


Please install the leakage circuit breakers at the power supply of the factory
equipment.
2.2 Ground Impedance
For the operation of residual current circuit breaker, there must be some degree of the
leakage. Even if you have install a leakage circuit breakers in the power supply
system, it will be not able to work normally because of the aging insulation or any
other reasons, so ask you to have a reliable grounding system.

Warning
Your company must have a formal grounding system, we recommend the
following ground resistance is under 10Ω.

2.3. Operating Voltage


The blowing machine host operating voltage for the three-phase five-wire 380VAC
power supply, if the blowing machine’s using environment have other needs, please
confirm with our company before ordering.Please supply stable voltage to the
machine. Allowed voltage variation range is about <±5%. you must set the factory
power supply voltage regulator if you change the voltage range out of the permissible
limits. Otherwise, our Company is not responsible for the damages of the components
causing by this reason.

2.4. Connection of power cord

Please connect three-phase 380VAC power supply (L1, L2, L3) with the mechanical
main gates QF11 reliable. Connect Neutral line (N, bright blue line) , mechanical
main gates QF11 of N terminal and another set of N terminal block with each other.
Protection conductor (PE, yellow / green striped line) and PE can be accessed to the
ground. Sectional area of the power line must meet the current requirements of the
machine.

Warning
Be sure to arrange a qualified electrician technical personnel to connect the
power cord operation,

3. Operation board switch

This section will introduce each switch on the operation board. (Operation board picture as
follow)

3.1 Emergency stop button (press the button in the picture when you need emergency stop)

3.4 Auto run starting button

3.5 Supply button


 The operation of mechanical components to take preform
button.
 During auto running, press this button to ON position,
performs will be supplied to blow molding machine.
 After turn on, the inner light is shining.
 Press the enter button again will cancel the preform into the
machine; the next cycle automatically stops supply, built-in lights off.
3.6 Blowing mould button

 The button is to make clamping device working effectively


of blow mould.
 Press the button; if the electric eye tests to detect blowing a
blank into the mold, it will be blowing process.
 Blowing the button is activated the built-in lamp light
 Press the button again, the next cycle to stop blowing, button built-in lights
off.

4.1 Features
 LCD monitor is in direct contact with buttons, operation is very simple。
 Through surveillance pictures at the state observation drives and sensor,
convenient search problem。
 Can record a number of parameters formula。

4.2 Touch screen using basic common sense
 To prevent damage, please only use the finger touch control panel screen. Do not
use a screwdriver, wrench and other metal instruments to reach. Also, please note
that long fingernails don’t contact with the screen.
 Please keep hands clean。
 Wipe the screen surface dirt, must first cut off power, Wipe with a damp cloth
which have neutral detergent.
 Don't take on mechanical sensor, after the operation and machinery.
 Operation during testing of components, make sure safe operation, each step
should be to observe the surroundings and to indicate the relevant personnel,

control cylinder detection information corresponding to the magnetic switch,

arrow means the initial position of the cylinder position.

6.2 handling warning

If the user doesn’t operate the machines properly or the machine doesn't work normally, the

system will give the hint of , which shows that something is going wrongly. Then,
Click the prompt into alarm interface which will display concrete alarm content, the
warning relieves and the alarm prompt will disappear.
The common contents of warning generally fall into the following types:
●Operation movement is insufficient.
When the machine woks smoothly, if one valve doesn’t work or works overtime
(exceed 3 seconds), the machine will stop working and system will give the
warning of insufficient movement of operation.
Solutions: 1: See from the state displaying interfaces to check whether the body of
valve gives off output signals.
2: Check whether the pressure is normal.
3: check whether the magnetic switch for detecting position is in it place, and
whether it works well.
●Servo driver Warning
When the screen interface prompts that the warning comes from servo driver, observe the
sign displayed on the servo driver panel firstly to find out the concrete cause.

When the machinery works normally, as servo goes forward for one time, the chain
should stop correctly at the original position and the synchronized signal of bottle
blowing should detect the target accurately. If there is no signal, the system will give
warning.
Warning indicates: 1. synchronous magic eye of bottle blowing is off the ball

3. Failing to detect every bearing that passes.
7. Test signal calibration

Chapter VII Maintenance and Checking
In this chapter, we will talk about how to maintain and check with the extrusion
machine produced by our company. Please do right manipulation after carefully

reading and understanding.
1. Regularly checking items
It is very important to maintain and check regularly, in order to keep the machine
in good condition. Make sure the following items are put in practice. There are also
items showed in the list of maintaining and checking. Please take it as your reference.
1.1. Daily checking items (before shaping running)
1.1.1 Make sure the running of all sensors is correct, accessories of screw threads
are tight enough, setting parts are in the right position, etc. 
1.1.2 Oiling to the wrinkled part and places need to oiling, especially to the eight
linear bearings for opening and closing moulds.
1.1.3Checking with safety gate and switch: make sure all the gates are in good
condition. Make sure if the limit switch of safety gate is running correctly by showing
of the delays. Check all the emergency switches are running well.
1.1.4 Open the valve under air loop and air filter, then push out water and foreign
matter.
1.1.5 The power of accessories should be go through before main machine in
principle. After the power of accessories is on, check the running condition and
initialization of all accessories (tem. etc).
1.1.6 Running conditions and supplying efficiency to main machine (water, air,
etc), play important roles in running of main machine. Besides opening, please check
if these machines are in good conditions when running.
1.1.7 There are differences on installing of accessory machines, according to the
different specifications supplied by the suppliers. For detailed information, please
refer to the constructions of the machine. The main points to the following items,
Cooling water: check the tem. and flux of the cooling water;
Compressor: check the pressure and volume of the air supplied to the extrusion
machine. There are two systems, high/low pressure;
Water chiller (if used): check the tem. and flux of the water.
The above loops must not leak.
1.1.8 By manual maintaining, check whether the running of bottom base and

dying assembly of extrusion moulds are well or not.
1.1.9 Check if the faces of moulds are in good condition in visual observation.
Make sure there is no dewing, rust, foreign matter.
1.1.10 Check if springs parts of machines of the mould guide rail are in good
condition.
1.1.11 Check the initialization of heating machine and check if the machine is
running well.
1.2. Daily checking items (when running)
The checking items when the machine is running
1.2.1. Check the pressure of working air and blowing air. If the air pressure
changes, the running of machine and blowing result will be affected. In this situation,
we can check if air supplying, air tank or filter machine are working well.
1.2.2. Check if there are abnormal sounds and librations at each part of the
running machines.
1.2.3. Do eye survey to the working condition of cylinder (driving devices).
1.2.4. Do eye survey to the working condition of perform, as well as the bottles’
carrying, supplying and fetching part.
1.2.5. Do eye survey to the working condition of servo motors. (transport part for
blowing)
1.3. Running finished
After a day or a week’s working, when running finished, please clean up each
part of the machine and its surroundings. This will avoid many potential problems. If
you have any problem or question, please check immediately.
1.4. Weekly checking items
The following items need to be checked every week. Do shut the power when
checking.
1.4.1. Add lubricant to the machines
Refer to the manual.
1.4.2. Die devices of blowing moulds
Check if the install of extension rod is tight enough. If the front of extension rod

out of shape or broken, it will affect bottle shaping. If necessary, change the parts.
1.4.3 Checking the heating machine
Check if there are breakages on the quartz heating machine, if the wire of heating
machine is ok. Check if the screws are tight enough, if there are broken wires. Clean
up the deflection plate. The dirt will cause bad heated perform and damage of heating
machine and deflection plate.
1.4.4 Check the installation of the moulds and machines. Check if the screws are
tightly put.
1.4.5 Clean up all the parts of the moulds. Check if there are damages and
deformations.
1.5. Monthly checking items
The following items need to be checked every month. Do shut the power when
checking.
1.5.1 Check the screw and nut of moved part and installation screw of moulds’
part. Check they are tight enough. In order to know the situation of screw as soon as
possible, please mark the screw place in paint. When find laxation, screw it down at
once and make the same mark.
1.5.2 Check and clean up every silencers of air loop. If the jam cannot be
removed after cleaning up, then change parts. If parts are not changed, the running
condition of air machines is likely to be undesirable.
1.5.3 Checking the assorted pipes
Check if the interface leaks air and if the parts are broken. Check if surfaces of
assorted pipes are broken, crooked or cracked.
1.5.4 Add grease lubricant to interface of moulds.
1.5.5 Check dirt situation of the filter. If it’s heavy, clean up immediately.
1.5.6 Check whether the moving desk (carriage part of blowing) and piston are
located to the same core.
1.5.7 Check if the silencer of exhaust is broken or blocked up.
1.5.8 There are different ways of checking and installing with the accessory
machines, which is according to the manufacturers and product model. For details,

please refer to the instruction books of each machine.
1.6. Checking items in every six months
1.6.1Clean and check the whole machine
Check again with the problems found in daily and monthly checking items.
1.6.2 Check all the power wires and electrical outlets 
Check the place of screw thread and interface, to see if there is laxation and wire
exposed. Check if oil and water immerges into the controlling case, or if there is dirt
and dust in the case. The eyewinker may cause damage and electrical leak to the
machine. Please clean up whenever find eyewinker. Also check the lids of controlling
box and connecting hole of the machine to see if the lids are tight enough.
1.6.3 Insulation resistance test (testing megger)
To avoid the accident of electric leakage, please do insulation resistance
test. Ask electrical engineering company to do this test.
1.6.4 Check the air loop and exhaust gas silencer
If there is big jam, please exchange. Or it may cause the air machine runs bad.
1.6.5 Check the safety valve of the air tank.
1.6.6 Clean the inside of the pipings of cooling water
Clean up the moulds, interfaces and inside of pipings.
