Customer Scope

Project Description:-
SoftiBuy recommends a Solar Grid Synchronous system (without batteries) that maximizes on
bill reductions and saves on diesel consumption. Through this system the facility will be able to
make the most of “Net Metering” policy if applicable, where the customer can export extra
units back to the Grid and avail usable credits. This can be beneficial during Sundays and
vacations when consumption is minimal.
GRID-TIE SOLAR SYSTEM
          •        This is the best option where energy consumption during the daytime is large,
                   when the sun is out.
          •        Elimination of battery backup reduces initial costs and maintenance issues.
      •      For a location where net-metering is in force, this option is ideal as it would help
             the building in reducing electricity bills
WORKING PRINCIPLE :-
      •      The solar modules when exposed to sunlight generate DC electricity.
      •      Solar Grid Tied Inverter performs the conversion of the variable DC output of the
             PV modules into a clean sinusoidal AC power.
      •      This inverter needs a synchronizing power which will be either the Grid or DG
      •      The Solar Current will be given lead angle in synchronization process and it will
             be forcefully injected into the bus bar
      •      The Loads will be supplied with Solar Power as a prime source of energy and Grid
             and DG power will supply remaining part of requirement.
SYNCHRONIZATION :-
        The inverter measures the grid (voltage, frequency, phasing) and uses this information
 to synchronize the internal regulation. It means the inverter starts up with an open grid
 contactor and with a grid independent frequency. Then the controller changes the internal
 frequency, voltage and phasing so long as this is absolutely identical to the given values from
 the grid. Now the electronics will close a soft start contactor to pre magnetize the internal
 transformer. Few parts of a second later the main grid contactor will close and the inverter
 will feed in. If the grid values are changed when the inverter feeds in the grid, monitoring will
 detect it and the controller will adjust the internal regulation so that the inverter is
 synchronized with the grid all the time.
PROTECTIONS :-
      •        DC Side modules will be given DC Dis-connector Switch which will protect the
      System
      •        For all kinds of faults the Solar Inverter will react first and ISOLATE itself from the
               system in Microseconds of time

LIMITATIONS :-
      •        No Back up will be given from the system, since solar power directly utilized
      •        When power goes off (Grid or DG) Inverter will isolate from the system, stop
               feeding and Solar Power will go waste
      •        Normal meters will rotate in the same direction even when is exported to the
               grid and feed power will be charged, so load analysis is critical without net
               metering

Terms & Conditions:-
    The above system price includes design, installation and commission of the entire solar
     power plant.
    Customer shall provide all necessary support for getting approvals from the concerned
     KSEBL.
    The system price is for a normal flat roof. Any additional structure work will be charged
     extra. Also, as per ANERT guidelines for installation, DC and AC cables in excess to 15m
     length and labour cost for that will be charged extra.
    Net meter can be taken for rent from KSEBL as per their norms and GST is applicable (if
     any).
    Any modification to the existing electrical system due to non-conformity to Electrical
     inspectorate/KSEBL standards will have to be carried out by the customer.
    Any consumables and labour required for the extra finishing works other than ANERT
     norms may charge extra.
    Any loading unloading issues occurring at the site may be settled by the customer
    Any additional structure work for providing access for cleaning will have to be done by
     the customer.
    It is the basic quote, if additional structure work, materials needed, it will be change
     extra.
    The quotation is valid for 15 days from the date of offer.
Delivery & Installation:-
The installation of entire project will be completed within one month. Commissioning will be
depends up on concerned departments.
Warranty Information:-
            Five year fully comprehensive warranty for the entire project from the date of
             project completion ( From Softibuy).
Additional Warranty:-
            Additional Warranty will provide by the manufacturer( Solar , Inverter) as per
             their terms & conditions
             **This warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from:
           • Wilful damage or negligence, normal wear and tear
           •   Installation and/or maintenance by a Customer or Third party
Misuse of abuse of Equipment / Modifications or alterations made by the Customer or Third
part without a written consent from SoftiBuy
Payment Schedule:-
          60 % advance with technically & commercially confirmed work
          30% during material delivery,
          10% after commissioning of entire project
