Cce Important Information

The document discusses the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) initiative by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India as an alternative to traditional examinations. It notes that external exams are inappropriate for assessing modern skills and that CCE aims to evaluate students in a more holistic manner. CCE involves continuous formative and summative assessment of scholastic, co-scholastic and self-evaluation areas through various tools and techniques. Students are graded in each area to provide comprehensive feedback on their strengths and weaknesses. The CCE system aims to reduce student stress and focus more on learning than marks.
