 We are all influenced by the environment around us, and have distinct, individual experiences
that affect our personality. In the same manner, an author is impacted by his history when he
writes. His written work has had a major influence on gender, race and socio-economic
position. The more you know the author, the more the messages that are important to its
work may be understood. Writing enhances the thinking process and helps to build critical
thinking abilities, since a person must explain ideas effectively and argue that higher order
thinking is cultivated. Writers can explain all their thoughts to them while responding to
complicated issues and how they can solve them.
