Camping
Last weekend, my friends and I went camping. We reached the camping ground after we walked
for about one and a half hour from the parking lot. We built the camp next to a small river. It was
getting darker and colder, so we built a fire camp.
The next day, we spent our time observing plantation and insects while the girls were preparing
meals. In the afternoon we went to the river and caught some fish for supper. At night, we held a
fire camp night. We sang, danced, read poetry, played magic tricks, and even some of us
performed a standing comedy.
On Monday, we packed our bags and got ready to go home.
Berkemah
Akhir pekan lalu, teman-teman saya dan saya pergi berkemah. Kami mencapai bumi perkemahan
setelah kami berjalan selama sekitar satu setengah jam dari tempat parkir. Kami membangun
tenda di samping sungai kecil. Hari mulai gelap dan dingin, jadi kami membuat sebuah api
unggun.
Keesokan harinya, kami menghabiskan waktu kita mengamati tanaman dan serangga sementara
gadis-gadis yang menyiapkan makanan. Di sore hari kami pergi ke sungai dan menangkap ikan
untuk makan malam. Pada malam hari, kami mengadakan malam api unggun. Kami bernyanyi,
menari, membaca puisi, bermain trik sulap, dan bahkan beberapa dari kita mementaskan komedi
sambil berdiri.
Pada hari Senin, kami berkemas-kemas dan bersiap-siap untuk pulang.
Last holiday, my friends and I went camping on the mountain. We went to
Guci, Tegal. The spot is near from our town. I is about 2 hours to get there.
We choose Guci because it is not too far from settlement.
We prepared everything before going on camping. The boys prepared the
tents, the girls prepared the food, and I checked the accommodations. We
brought cooking utensils and the food from home, clothes, camera, guitar,
etc. We went there by a car and a motorcycle for unwanted condition. We
went there in the sunny morning and hoped no rain during camping.
On the first day, we sat up the tent on the spot near waterfall. The girls
made the fence of the area but the boys took a bath on the river. Then, we
cooked the food for the lunch, had lunch together, tried to fish in the river
but we got a sandal.
On the second day, we had some activities. We went on hiking up the
mountain, took some pictures in tea garden, and picked strawberry. The last
night of our camping was so cold, we made a campfire, sang song together
and told spooky stories which made us fear.
We had camping for about three days. On the last day, we packed
everything we bought. we cleaned the area and made sure there was
nothing left except our footprint. We didn’t took anything except took
photos, we remembered that we must keep the nature, friendly with them
and they will be friendly with us. We made a memory by taking photos
together in front of a waterfall and then went home happily. We felt very
tired.

This story begins as an odd semester holidays. During the holidays, I didn’t go, I just stay at
home. I have spent vacations with activities that are often repeated as watching tv, playing
games, and play hp. Nearly every day I do that activity, so sometimes I get bored and want to
quickly go to school again.
On December 31, 2013, I went to my grandma’s House to celebrate the new year. When the day
of the night of the event, we had a barbecue party, where we roast a chicken, fish, corn, sausage
and meatballs. At the moment 16, we immediately get out of the House to play Fireworks and we
also watched Fireworks that fly in the sky endlessly. At one o’clock in the morning, I went back
into the House, and sleep in my grandma’s House. I live in my grandma’s House for 3 days, and
after that I returned to the House. At home I do activities as usual, i.e. such as watch tv, eat
snacks, etc., until I eventually enter school again on 6 January 2014.
Holidays end years ago really fun although sometimes boring.
Cerita ini dimulai saat liburan pada semester ganjil yang lalu. Selama liburan, saya tidak
kemana-mana, saya hanya tinggal di rumah. Saya telah menghabiskan waktu liburan dengan
kegiatan yang sering diulang seperti menonton tv, bermain game, dan bermain hp. Hampir setiap
hari saya melakukan kegiatan itu, jadi kadang-kadang saya bosan dan ingin cepat pergi ke
sekolah lagi.
Pada tanggal 31 desember 2013, saya pergi ke rumah nenek saya untuk merayakan tahun baru.
Saat hari malam, kami mengadakan acara pesta barbekyu, di sana kami memanggang ayam,ikan,
jagung,sosis dan bakso. Pada saat jam 12, kami segera keluar rumah bermain kembang api dan
kami juga menyaksikan kembang api yang terbang di langit tanpa henti. Pada jam 1 dini hari,
saya pun kembali ke dalam rumah, dan tidur di rumah nenek saya. Saya tinggal di rumah nenek
saya selama 3 hari, dan setelah itu saya kembali lagi ke rumah.
Di rumah saya melakukan aktivitas seperti biasa, yaitu seperti menonton tv,makan cemilan,etc.,
sampai pada akhirnya saya masuk sekolah kembali pada tanggal 6 januari 2014.
Liburan akhir tahun yang lalu sungguh menyenangkan walau terkadang membosankan.
New Year’s Eve celebration
On New Year’s Eve 2015, my big family and I celebrated New Year’s Eve together. We held a
big dinner planned by my father and my uncle in my house. Before the celebration, we all
prepared what was needed such as ingredients of food, fireworks, trumpet, and sound system.
The weather on the day was not so bright. Drizzling rain which flushed the earth since the
morning did want to not stop. But it did not dampen our spirits. My cousin and I went to the
market to buy fireworks. We bought quite a lot of fireworks on that day to enliven our big event.
After getting fireworks, we helped my father and uncle to prepare karaoke appliance and sound
system at home, while my mother and aunt prepared chicken meat and seasoning to be in roast
tonight.

Precisely at 18.00 everything we need was ready. We were just waiting for 22.00 o’clock. We
deliberately postponed the dinner time so that we could enjoy the food we made later. While we
were waiting, I and my big family joked and laughed together in the living room. We also did
karaoke together; each of us had to sing a song. My uncle who was good in singing did not want
to miss to entertain us. At 22:00 we started to prepare the food. My father, uncle, cousin and I
prepared the chicken meat to be grilled, while my mother, aunt and sister prepared rice, side
dishes and drinks. After the chicken meat was cooked, we ate together while waiting at 12.00.
We ate with gusto at that time and we fell so happy to eat together.

At 11:45 we started to prepare the fireworks to be burned. After the time was closed to
12.o’clock, we counted down to set off fireworks. We immediately set off fireworks right along
with the turn of the year. We also blew the trumpet to add to the excitement of the evening. It’s
amazing to see the fireworks show together with my big family. I hope we can hold this event
again next year.

Perayaan Malam Tahun Baru
Pada malam tahun baru 2015, aku dan keluarga besar ku merayakan malam tahun baru bersama.
kami mengadakan acara makan besar yang direncanakan oleh ayah dan pamanku di rumahku.
Sebelum perayaan, kami semua menyiapkan apa yang dibutuhkan seperti bahan bahan makanan,
kembang api, terompet dan sound system.
Cuaca pada hari itu tidak begitu cerah. hujan gerimis yang mengguyur bumi sejak pagi tidak
juga berhenti. Tapi hal itu tidak menyurutkan semangat kami. aku dan sepupuku pergi ke pasar
untuk membeli kembang api. kami membeli cukup banyak kembang api pada hari itu untuk
memeriahkan acara besar kami. setelah mendapatkan kembang api. aku dan sepupuku membantu
ayah dan paman untuk menyipakan sound system dan alat karoke dirumah. sementara ibu dan
bibiku sedang mneyiapkan daging ayam dan bumbu yang akan di panggang nanti malam.
tepat pada pukul 18.00 semua telah siap. kami hanya tinggal menunggu jam 22.00. kami sengaja
untuk mengundur jam makan malam agar kami bisa menikmati makanan yang kami buat. selama
menunggu aku dan keluarga besarku saling bercanda dan tertawa bersama di ruang tamu. kami
juga berkaroke bersama-sama, Masing masing dari kami harus menyanyikan sebuah lagu.
pamanku yang pintar menyanyi pun tidak mau ketinggalan menghibur kami. pada jam 22.00
kami mulai menyiapkan makanan. ayah, paman, sepupuku dan aku menyiapkan daging ayam
yang akan di bakar. sementara ibu, bibi dan adik perempuanku menyiapkan nasi, lauk pauk dan
minuman. setelah daging ayam matang kami makan bersama sambil menunggu jam 12.00. kami
makan dengan lahap. senang sekali rasanya bisa makan bersama.
Pukul 11.45 kami mulai menyiapkan kembang api untuk dibakar. setelah waktu mendekati jam
12 tepat kami menghitung mundur untuk menyalakan kembang api. kami segera menyalakan
kembang api tepat bersamaan dengan pergantian tahun. kami juga meniup terompet untuk
menambah kemeriahan malam itu. sungguh menakjubkan sekali melihat pertunjukan kembang
api bersama-sama keluargaku. aku harap kami bisa mengadakan acara ini lagi tahun depan.
