Now I will be talking about five touristic places in the Dominican

Republic. The fist is Las Terrenas, the most interesting attributes of


las Terrenas are its tourist Places and its excursions, in which we
can discover its immense natural wealth and emblematic places
from a historical and cultural point of view.

Another touristic attraction is the National Park Los Haitises. In the


ancient language of the Taino Indians Los Haitises Mean highland or
mountain land. Al the park is a peculiar and curious formation of
carcass rocks emerged from the sea millions of years ago. Years
that determine a system of caverns with samples of pictograph and
petroglyphs. It contains impressive landscape elements and
numerous keys. It also has one of the most extensive mangroves of
the country besides its abundant fauna.

Another is “LA Cascada del Limón” the journey from the village of
“El Limon” lasts about 45 minutes, the sight of its walls covered
with moss is one of its great natural beauty. It is more than 40
meters high and is a spectacle that will leave you speechless. It is
possible to breathe, although we recommend caution.

The fourth is “Cayo Levantao”, one of the best-known tourist places


in the country. This islet has presented is wonders to the cameras
of the world for filming advertising spots. The most famous if the
ad for Bacardi Rum showing a whole rage of blue in crista clear
waters. It is easily accessible by boat from the port of Santa
Barbara.
The last but not the least is “Playa El Rincon” which is considered
one of the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean. It is two point
five kilometers long surrounded by thick and unique vegetation. Its
waters are praise turquoise transparent and quiet.
