Dear Dr. Hernandez,

It is my pleasure to present my resume for a position of Mathematics teacher for Senior


High School in your institution. I graduated Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering as
my first course, year 2005, and earned units of Education in 2016, and fortunately
passed the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers recently this September,
2019. I am also taking Master of Arts in Mathematics Education with Specialization in
College Teaching at Philippine Normal University in Manila.

I am hardworking, flexible, and dedicated educator for my almost four (4) years now of
teaching experience since I finished my units in Education. I was hired as Mathematics
and English teacher to both Elementary and Junior High School Department during my
first year of teaching experience at Academia De San Isidro, Phase 1, EP Housing,
Taguig. After the contract, I was also hired right away as Mathematics teacher to both
Junior High School and Senior High School Department in MCA Montessori School,
Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. And aside from that, I also teach different subjects. Some are
related to Math, and some are not, like Principles of Marketing, Practical Research 1
(Quantitative Research), and those related in Math like Probability and Statistics,
Business Mathematics, and FABM 1 for the same school. Given this related experience
and ample capabilities, I would appreciate your consideration for the job. My resume is
enclosed for your review.

After I graduated my Bachelor’s Degree, I worked in a private company. To educate


people is one of the programs imposed by that company. I learned how to handle group
of people and it inspires me to get units in Education. I attended seminars, workshops,
and trainings during my study, and in my current work. That is why I can confidently say
that I understand how the system works in the state of schools, and I can do the duties
and responsibilities of a public school teacher.

Experience has taught me how to deal with different individuals and to build and strong
relationship with any departments. I have the ability to work with team, or any other
teams. I believe that your school will give me the opportunity to learn more things in the
chosen field, and that it would help my teaching skills further.
