INTRODUCTION
Cockroaches are common insect pest found all over the world
this insect is common to most people. Cockroaches are very
resourceful insect that can live eat and breed in your home.
Cockroaches are insect of the order Blattodea which also includes
termites about 30 cockroach species out of 4600 are associated
with human habitats about four species are well known as pest the
least as the carboniferous period.
Cockroaches are synonymous with filth and poor hygiene their
feeding and nesting habits mean they accumulate a range of
pathogenic organism which they crawl there are approximately of
cockroaches 4,000 living species in the world. Cockroaches are
commonly found in building and homes because they prefer warm
environment close to food and water that makes the food
contaminated and then they will take result to dangerous health
that may sometimes lead several illness and death.
The Researchers conducted this study to consider the Three
Important Variables such as Calamansi Extract which has
substances that could have the effect to cockroach, chili fruit
which could be a big help in keeping our home safe from
coackroaches.

REVIEW AND RELATED LITERATURE
Cockroach is a scavenging insect that resembles a beetle,
having long antennae and legs and typically a broad, flattened
body. Several tropical kinds have become established worldwide as
household pests. To say someone is a cockroach or a vermin means
that they are harmful or they are scavengers. It could also mean
that they irritate people by being where they don't really
necessarily need to be. Another thing that it could mean is that
the people around this specific person find him or her somewhat
disgusting.
This creature is often able to survive from any attempt to
end their life. It makes them the symbol for long life,
refreshment, rebirth, and rejuvenation. With cockroach as your
animal totem gives you new perspective of yourself in line with
your emotion, state of your mind and spirituality. The body is
divided into three parts—head, thorax, and abdomen. Three pairs
of legs are attached to the thorax. Most cockroaches have three
joints on each leg, which means they have 18 knees! The skeleton
is made of a hard substance called chitin.
Calamansi (spelled kalamansi in native Tagalog orthography)
is a small, very round citrus fruit that's ubiquitous in the
Philippines. The fruits are often used when the thin rind is
still green on the outside, and that is the color associated with
it. Scientific name: Citrus microcarpa. Calamansi extract has an
ability to kill insects especially cockroaches. And they also
find out that it can be used as substitute for commercial
products like BAYGON that can kill insects if commercial products
are not available or cannot afford them.
Chili Fruit is a small hot-tasting pod of a variety of
capsicum, used chopped (and often dried) in sauces, relishes, and
spice powders. There are various forms with pods of differing
size, color, and strength of flavor, such as cascabels and
jalapeños. Chili extract as a substitute pesticide in killing
cockroaches. - It is used as food, effective flocculant or water
treatment, antibiotic, source of oil, and coagulant for turbid
waters.
