The significance of studying Physical Education and Health is
an opportunity for students to learn about the importance of being active

Physical Education teaches our students that good health and safety

2. What is the difference between Physical Education and Health
     Education?
     Answer:
Physical education is an integral part of the curriculum
designed to promote the optimum development of the individual
physically, socially, emotionally and mentally through total body
movement in the performance of properly selected physical activities. In
other words, Physical Education would help an individual to be developed
holistically. Whereas, Health education is any combination of learning
experiences designed to help the individual and communities improve
their health, by increasing their knowledge or influencing their attitudes.
Health education builds students’ knowledge, skills and positive attitudes
about health, prevent disease and reduce risky behaviors.
