This 

summer is so hot so I’ve chosen a short version, but you can easily crochet it any length you
want. This is a perfect length for the beach or go out at night. You can also wear it with high
waisted skirt and cardigan. I think it will be a great addition to your fall wardrobe.
Materials:
Elastic Yarn: Nako Comfort Stretch /90% Microfiber, 10% Polyester/211 yards / 50 grams – 2
skeins
Crochet Hook: 2,00 mm
Stitches Used: ch-chain, sl st-slip stitch, dc-double crochet, fdc – foundation dc
Size: S
PATTERN:

Start with a row of Foundation Dc (Fdc) in multiple of 5

Round 1: foundation dc 220 sts, join with sl st to the 1st dc


Round 2: ch-1, sc in the same place, ch-4, skip next 4 sts, * sc in next st, ch-4, skip 4 st **, repeat
from * to ** around to the last 4 dc, ch-2, join with DC to the 1ST SC (finish the round in the
middle of ch-4 space)
Round 3-4: ch-1, sc in the same space * ch-4, sc in next ch-4 space **, repeat from * to ** around
to the last ch-4 space, ch-2, join with DC to the 1ST SC (finish the round in the middle of ch-4
space)
Round 5: ch-3, dc in same space, dc in next sc, * 4 dc in next ch-4 space, dc in next sc **, repeat
from * to ** around, 2 dc in the first ch-4 space, join with sl st to top of ch-3
Round 6: ch-3, dc in same place, * ch-1, skip next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc **, repeat from * to **
around, ch-1, join with sl st to top of ch-3
Round 7-8: ch-3, dc in next dc, * ch-1, dc in next 2 dc **, repeat from * to ** around, ch-1, join
with sl st to top of ch-3
Repeat Round 2-8 3 times or as many times as you need
I finished with Round 8

The last round (shells): ch-1, sc in the same place,  skip next 3 sts, 5 dc in next st, * skip next 3 sts,
sc in next st, skip next 3 sts, 5 dc in next st **, repeat from * to ** around, join with sl st to the 1st
sc. Finish off.
Make a row of shells around the top part and repeat the last round

Shoulder Straps (2)

Row 1: foundational row – 5 dc

Row 2: ch-2, turn, dc in each dc to the end of the row

Repeat Row 2 48 times or as many times as you need

Mark the places for the shoulder straps.

Sew the shoulder straps to the top.
