Catholic Charismatic Renewal Prayer
Before you start the Praise and Worship, Remind your members how it will be conducted. Give
emphasis on the thanksgiving & offering of petition prayers. Ask the member how they prefer to
say their thanksgiving; will it be done clockwise or counter-clockwise? This is to make them
aware that everybody is encouraged to say their prayers.
1. Prayer & Worship
Opening Song/s (Choose any meditative song that will invite the holy spirit in the Cell Group
Meeting)
CGL: Invite the group to pray with you (better if you can start the worship in tongues)
Dear Father, we thank You for everyone gathered here today. Thank You for You know
each one of us by name and have caused us to walk with You. Thank you for You promise us
that where two or three are gathered, You are there in the midst. Lord we welcome you and
celebrate the gift of life that You poured upon each of us. (Say your thanksgiving prayer to guide
your members, end by saying: We Praise and Thank You lord or Pinupuri’t
pinasasalamatan Ka namin Panginoon)
(This will signal the Members to say their thanksgiving)
THE START OF THE PRAISE & WORSHIP
(When all are finished to say their thanksgiving)
CGL: Thank you Father for this wonderful moment with you, as we continue our prayer and
worship, allow us to offer you another song (Any Worship Song that is related to the topic)
We say that we are dependent on You and our trust is in You completely. As we
surrender ourselves in adoration, we ask that You would come by your Holy Spirit and inspire
our hearts today. Allows us to offer our petition and be assured that You will never leave nor
abandon us. (Say your petition prayer and end by saying: LORD HEAR OUR PRAYERS)
(This will be the cue the members to offer their petitions)
CGL: Thank you, Father God for accepting our petitions. As we begin our CGL, please fill our
hearts with your love, fill our discussion with your grace and truth, and fill this meeting with your
presence. We ask that You open our ears so that we may hear your voice, open our minds so
that we may receive your eternal wisdom, open our spirit so that we may know your leading and
lastly, open our hearts so that We may receive your wonderful love. We ask this for your glory
and praise. Amen.
2. SHARING PROPER
- The cell group topic will be provided by the CORE Group 1st week of the month.
Different Methods in Group Sharing:
DISCUSSION
- In this method, the members will answer the given questions based on the topic
provided by the CORE group.
7 STEP METHOD
- Read the Bible Scripture (You can repeat it to be more clear)
- Look and reflect on the verse that strikes you
- Read aloud the verse that you picked three times
- After the group is done, have a moment of silence to reflect
- Sharing based on why you picked that passage

3. CLOSING PRAYER
Lord, Your word is the lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Thank you that we can
live in your light and walk in your truth. May the things that you have revealed and thoughts that
we have shared dwell in our hearts and stir us to action. We ask all this in the precious name of
Jesus. AMEN
